My friend shared my paper with her relative who is trans and he told my friend that I've 'made him feel seen and loved for the first time in ages' and I'm not crying, you are 😭❤️😭❤️

@DrJenGunter UK Nurse here 🙋🏼‍♀️The WHO have said its best not to for vaccination, but in depots/rapid tranq to clean skin if not "socially clean". In videos of covid vaccination, I've seen other places don't Z track and that really blew my mind!!

Not sure this article got much of a peer review pre-publication but don't worry, I've done one for you x 1. Throughout, "men, women, and trans people" is used. This suggests trans people are not seen by the authors as men or women but instead fall in a 3rd gender category🚩

In my cohort multiple students struggled financially, some even dropped out. That was WITH NHS bursary. Existing financial commitments and financial independence won't be covered by £5k. Its a nice idea but will barely touch the debt

Today is #PronounsDay and its more important than you might think.. I use she/her and they/them pronouns. I bought myself a pronoun pin for my work lanyard and share these in my bio and email signature so that others know how to address me and know I'll respect their pronouns too

Really not fun fact about #OnlyWomenGetCervicalCancer is that trans men are over 10x more likely to get an inadequate pap smear than cis women. This means that cervical cancer is harder to identify and may not be found until much later

7. The reasons men are under represented in nursing ("women's work" is seen as lesser and men not socialised for caring roles) are *vastly* different to those for trans and non-binary Nurses (discrimination and unsafe work environment). Do not conflate minority with marginalised.

I couldn't be more impressed with our 3rd year mental health nursing students! The whole cohort worked so hard and did amazingly on the simulated acute ward for their Advanced Clinical Learning module🏅 Great fun to teach for @McCandlish and I too!!

Today was my first ward shift in 4 months, back on @TwoRedwood . My nerves turned to anxiety about 11am and stayed until an hour into my shift BUT I went and had a really enjoyable shift! It was great to see my work friends and nice (for me) to have familiar patients
