My immediate guess is that amateur esports branding stems from the older traditions of esports logos (Final Boss, Str8 Rippin, etc), while professional organizations are more in line with traditional sports (and can also afford branding agencies).

Ive been relatively off the grid recently apart from TC4 stuff, so a quick life update. Two week ago, our family got bigger! Jess and I have been applying for foster care since Jan and currently have a placement - a 13 year old. Excited for this new chapter in our lives.

Posted this in my Discord, but I’ll post here for visibility. Taking some time off of content creation. Life changes + work being crazy has made doing TFT stuff irresponsible at the moment. Going to catch up, refocus & hopefully return in a few weeks when it’s more feasible.

The rush of Summit has finally settled down a bit, and I just want to say a few words about our scene and give some shoutouts. Summit felt like watching the Melee intro where the character figurines become alive. It was an animation of personalities we see every day on stream.
