1. Putting into words why I, and maybe some of those reading this, hate encounters: I have criticized the mechanics of sets 7, 8, and 9 for encouraging inflexible gameplay because they reward hard-forcing specific comps and disincentivize pivoting. Encounters are NOT like that.

Secret tech to beating Liss players: The earlier you ff during the fight, the less chance they have to farm gold/items off of you. If you pull off this strat effectively, you can worsen their average placement by 0.2 AT LEAST (as long as you know you’re going to die anyways)

Why I'm pessimistic for Flex play: Dragons, hero augments, and legends. These were key mechanics added in the past 3 sets. Each one has been antithetical to flex play - they're mechanics that force you into one comp, discourage pivoting, and encourage hard-forcing one playstyle.

1. The 3-2 Rolldown: Why it's the indicator of a healthy meta and why the damage changes in the next patch do not address current problems - Base damage is being increased from round 4 onwards. However, round 3 damage should be the FIRST to be increased IMO.

Just my personal opinion: The jazz trait should not be nerfed. Lucian is bad as a carry, and Bard carry is alright but not overtuned. The bigger issues are Superfans and MF. Really hope that in the next patch, we don't see Jazz gutted before those other problems are addressed.

How to counter 4 cost soup with 2 cost reroll: Instead of rolling on 6, try rolling on 8. While it might decrease your 2 cost odds, it will allow you to hold multiple 4 cost units to grief others. Also, even if you miss your 2 cost, you can just sell it and put items on a 4 cost!

The fact that I am the premier Kat holder on the NA server is probably my greatest accomplishment as a TFT player. Also, until NA learns to hold Kats like EUW, we will never be as good as them. Being a rat shouldn't be seen as a negative when you're playing a multiplayer game.

Dissatisfying shit that happens in Set 7 - Chapter 1: You line up your Syphen carry perfectly to snipe the enemy Xayah. Syphen charges and goes for the auto attack. Shen ults and you do no damage. Xayah pulls her feathers back and your whole team dies because of GS.

A reason why I think set 4 was the best is because of 2 units: Ashe and Jhin. Single target AA carries with insane positioning nuance. Compare those to the likes of Kayle, Sivir, and Xayah, and it’s easy to see why the latter have been incredibly problematic in their sets

New tech: If you're high health in the lobby but your items are garbage, check to see if the merc player is in your rotation. If they are, open fort for them. Once you cash them out, pray that they kill everyone else and you never face them again. Works 100% of the time probably.

Super happy that legends are gonna be gone. I think in an ideal world with perfect balance, they could work. However, when balance is not quite there, all they do is exacerbate any existing balance issues. Until balance is there, they are a nightmare and should be left out.

1. I understand the need for difficult-to-hit verticals to be strong for casuals. However, Urf makes it so they're not difficult to hit. I don't really understand why 5-costs and levelling needed to be nerfed because of Asol/Kench, while verticals can stay the way they are.

I know I didn't offer many actual suggestions from improvement, but that doesn't mean they're impossible. Take Innovator cup - If it's changed to a 3/4 elimination on Day 2 instead of 1/2 then 1/2, that's already a substantial improvement in terms of sample size.

Unpopular opinion: Adding a bunch of "for-fun" synergies does not make the game more fun. This has been obvious for all of Set 7 and now 7.5. In theory, they make the game more exciting, but that's only if they're balanced, and that is never the case if they're added all at once.
