The 2-slot sealed RCQ on mtgo has more than 400 players & 10 rounds. Many stores regularly have 32 player 2 slot rcqs. I strongly feel mtgo needs a prizing restructure & a return to PTQ events, especially with the US system change making RC slots less useful. Respect the players!

Wow! WON (Split🏆) the vintage showcase with the best build of Lurrus. Format needs an urza's saga restriction🙃. This puts me right back in first place on the mocs leaderboard in both points and showcase tokens (now only missing legacy) So happy and grateful for my great season!

Top8d the modern showcase with leylinos. Lost r1 and went on a heater, I keep doing this so call me the comeback king. Deck was insane but it has bad matchups too. This puts me in tied 1st place for the MOCS leaderboard with @edmvyrus_ Thankful for my strong season

Yesterday I top16'd the modern showcase with Murktide, said it was a bad metacall. Top4 in the sunday challenge with domain zoo. You cant really beat murktide otd, thankfully I won all 3 die rolls lol. Never played a modern challenge before yesterday. What a great weekend!

The grind is real, currently double queuing the arena draft with the vintage qualifier on two separate laptops. 2-0 in both. These last few weeks on nonstop double queueing has given me a new respect for grinders, this is hard! But we do it for the love of the game

Top8d the pioneer challenge. Lost in the top8 but still happy with the finish after I lost 3 win and ins in a row. This brings my winrate with phx over the last 4 events to 71% (20-8) I believe phoenix is by far the best thing to be doing in this format, and cruise should leave

Top8 Vintage Challenge, where I took a classic loss to initiative. Played jewel to throw people off but the deck is just insanely broken lol. Nice feeling to top8 after a while, even if challenges kinda are noise. Used @LipetzNathan list and mapping which were a big help, thanks!

Finished 7-2 in the modern showcase for 12th and top16. I swear I get 12th place so often lmao. I used mostly the usual UR Murktide, which may be a terrible choice for right now lmao! My matchup spread was very hostile to me. Pretty good comeback reult after losing round 1!

@AliEldrazi Why would you ever scoop? This implies that 6-2-1 is equivalent to 6-3 but the first record is actually so much better and leaves you way more likely to pt qualify if you make it to day two.

Won a modern prelim with tide👑🐲. List is a work in progress. Posting 4-0 prelims are sort of 😬, but I have been playing a lot with the deck and am happy to feel myself getting better with it, even if prelims are random ish. Also 2-2d like 10 of these things so a win is nice.

Top8d the pioneer challenge with phoenix, same 75 as yesterday. Crazy run for me, both in general and in pioneer. Top8d or lost the win for my last 5 pioneer events with phoenix for a nice 69% winrate (25-11). My list is not perfect but I am carried by how broken delve is 🤷‍♂️

8-3 Legacy EW for 43rd with my take on Initiative. Deck was amazing, convinced it’s the right way to build it (w/ -1 Thalia +1 chancellor). Stock list just ain’t it. 15-5 on the weekend, ran really hot all through, winning 17/20 die rolls and keeping tons of 7s. EW is the best.

Begging @MagicOnline to lower the prelim minimum to 10. I see no reason why it has to be 12 given that they pay out per win. I have witnessed dozens of events get stuck at 9 or 10 just this year alone. Every time, it is so demoralizing. QP grinders have suffered enough! 🎻

@IamActuallyLvL1 Vintage is having far more change and stability/balance in the meta than any other format. Seriously, what format right now has tons of different decks that are all viable with a meta that is constantly shifting week to week with the 'deck to beat.'

@MackSmith79 Paper play is cool and all. I have no problem with mtgo being harder to qualify through than paper. But the disparity is so large that it becomes embarrassing from their perspective, it feels like a disservice to the very dedicated mtgo playerbase. Really think it needs a change

Curious on some of the logistics of mtgo etiquette and want community opinion. Let's start with this You're x-0 in a large event. You get the pair down in the last round of swiss. In your opinion, is it wrong to not scoop? I personally think its fine.

@Burnt_Taco77 It’s a slow control deck with combo backup plan. Frequently win with a combo, bowmaster can put pressure on opponent in some spots. Very good at stopping what your opponents do. Saga wins the game on its own when unanswered either through constructs or getting lotus for lurrus.
