I often feel that true leadership emerges in challenging times of stress, financial hardship etc. If @MichealMartinTD was on the PUP of €350 per week and unable to support his family, the country would be closed to foreign travel weeks ago.

Unfortunate to see yet more stainless steel bollards and poured concrete paths going into the Architectural Conservation Area that is Newtown Pery. The black cast bollards (outside my door) at least are a little more sympathetic and have the City Crest adorning them also.

Franciscan Church, Henry St. Limerick, was built in 1876. When the Friars left in 2008, it was gifted to the Bonaventure Trust,who, it appears could not find a use for it. Leased to City Council in 2014.Empty now for 14 years, The Church building is suffering from severe neglect.
