exactly 2 years ago today I went undercover as an addict, to see what the city of SF offered as help to the thousands suffering and dying on our streets. I was given all these drug supplies. not 1 person asked if I needed medical care or wanted rehab.

since then nothing has changed. we're still averaging 2 drug deaths a day in SF. @SF_DPH still doesn't actively promote and provide rehab/recovery. instead, activists want to give "pure" illegal drugs to addicts.

some on the hard left are gleeful that its not a random killing. some on the hard right are angry because they think it demonstrates that SF isn't as dangerous as they say it is. the truth: a man was murdered. I don't do narratives AND this city has a serous crime problem.

The Bob Lee attack was by this guy- they were driving in the same car together when he was stabbed. Wonder if we’ll ever get to know the circumstances. But it was not a random attack.

@paulg San Francisco is a spectacular city. the bad isn't exaggerated, though. in fact, it's worse than you can imagine. however the good isn't exaggerated either. it's far, far better than you can imagine.

@UjuAnya *people looking at map, in front of my San Francisco home.* I ask if they need directions. "yes, we're looking for ___." I explain the best route. "Where are you from?" I ask, smiling. "Malaysia/Sweden/Peru..." they happily respond. conversation ensues. welcome.

every poll indicates that most San Franciscans loathe Chesa Boudin & will vote him out. so WHY have certain media outlets endorsed the opposite? ask yourself who they representing. credibility is hard to build and easy to lose, dear reporters and editors.

last year I called @SFPD re: a naked man masturbating in front of kids. arrested in minutes. there are 30 counts of lewd behavior against him. sentencing & victim statements the 26th. I'll be there. thanks to @BrookeJenkinsSF and her team for taking this seriously.

just got back from San Diego. there is no open air drug scene in Del Mar, Solana Beach, Cardiff, etc. if this park was in SF, drug dealers & users would be all over. I always ask why they aren't. the answer is invariably, "we don't allow it." So why do we?
