My beautiful mam is in ICU. The kindness of the staff who facilitate us to grab a few precious moments on FaceTime with her, is unquantifiable.

We lost my beautiful, kind, wise, loving and courageous mam.
We’re heartbroken but so so blessed she was ours.
I have loved her every day of my life and that will never change ❤️
Thank you mammy ❤️
My dad, a rural GP, would go as far as to say the introduction of Eircodes has saved lives. You could have ambulances lost ,and patients waiting for ages in the past

I’ve gotta say, Derry people are the loveliest people. Anywhere!
And it’s one of the most beautiful and historically rich cities in the world.
Coming here is life affirming

I stay 3 nights a week with my mam, who is immunocompromised and suffers from a chronic respiratory disease requiring 24/7 oxygen. Mam is also fabulously funny, warm and wise. We laugh all the time. She has to be isolated. I fully support this, but I miss her so much

I’m currently at the best hairdresser in Ireland and the world! They let me bring my baby after my babysitter cancelled. And gave a coffee the size of my head 🥰
I spoke with Catherine Corless today. The hurt in her voice is haunting me.
She is a courageous, thoroughly decent woman.
If she feels let down by this report then something isn’t right

Our family is overwhelmed with the beautiful response to our situation.
Mam has improved and we are overjoyed.
She still has a battle ahead but we are full of gratitude and hope.

The care shown to her and us, is incredible. Thank you❤️

I had a great chat with John Joe and he said how lovely the staff are in McGinn’s. Any criticism of them is really unfair not in the spirit of this happy story. A conscientious man occasionally enjoys a couple of pints. That’s it!
This is my family’s experience of

My mother needs oxygen 24/7 and her life is not easy - I don't know when I will see her again
I hate a pile on. They sicken and scare me. Linda Hayden orchestrated several- with a ferocity and determination that was disturbing to watch. I hope everyone hurt by Linda and Linda herself will come out of this better. But Twitter bullying is a road to hell.
Very strange call with HSE official who demanded I tell him where I got my information, then wrongly claimed I told him where. Then said he was going to complain to my editor. Are press office calls recorded?
A truly heartbreaking day in court today:
The cruelty inflicted on some families in this short life is beyond words.
So Grateful to get home from Dublin and climb into bed with my little one ❤️
I’m thinking of Aidan, Michael & Anthony
Today was wrectchedly sad. We live in a cruel world sometimes. I was repeatedly told the same things about Det Gda Colm Horkan - A gentleman, decent, kind and good-humoured. And the least deserving of the brutal end he received. My heart is aching for his family and colleagues

Our wedding is in four weeks. We are not long home from picking our menu. It was already terrible cutting our list to 50 😞
Now six!
We will probably now have to choose between our son or one of our parents
🚨Level 5🚨
*Stay within 5km.
*No visitors.
*No sports or gyms.
*Weddings down to six people.
Or could the Gov decide Tony has successfully scared the sh*te out of us & just go to Level 4 (with a stern ‘cop on’ lecture) as a halfway house?

It's to protect people. It's not to discriminate. Children can't adhere to social distancing or cough etiquette. I don't understand how you are taking offence to this. They would never ban children in normal circumstances
Dr Breda Smyth, Director of Public Health West:“Galway is one of few counties where case numbers continue to grow; the 14-day incidence rate is now 1,082 per 100,000. This means the infection is everywhere in the community. The case rate is high in Tuam, Galway City and Oranmore.

I've covered courts for nearly 15 years. I worked in the Central Criminal Court and the Crown Court in Belfast. I have never witnessed anything as horrific as your behaviour in Swinford over the two days. You left a grieving family in tears; you knew that and still continued

Have you given a directive?
