There is not huge volumes more traffic than before. It’s got bad because of the deliberate single lanes, and bottlenecks. They are deliberately screwing the roads to put people off driving. It’s a war of attrition.

London taxi drivers have given up the fight to ply for hire on 20% of streets. Including some crucial areas, including Bank Junction, Belvedere Road and Tottenham Court Road, to name a few. This is adding up to a considerable obstruction to trade. This inaction sets a precedence.
