This time last year I posted an honest belief from what I learned from Teamwork22 and was scolded for doing so. I regret taking that view down and succumbing to the narrow viewpoint of those that misinterpreted what I said
Be honest, be constructive, and be yourself.
@HeidiBachram
Heidi, we live in a country of free speech less the protected characteristics. If we ran around abolishing slogans because some people, and it is some, feel it incites genocide.. then we wouldn't be able to open our mouths. Read the Likud charter....

I’ll quite happily give you your country back… but if you could explain who from, with credible evidence to say you no longer have said item, that would be great.

I’ve developed a sort of addiction to listening to Alastair talk. My political views are probably somewhat different, even if not yet fully formed. However, between him and
@RoryStewartUK
, I’ve never heard two politically opposed people talk so much bloody sense!
@Joseph_Fasano_
If I was that person, I’d be massively disappointed if you didn’t. But, nobody likes the ‘oh, what do you think of that book?’ Question posing as a stranger. Be upfront, tell them straight away!
@JoeThorpe1963
@maj_fox
Maybe not, but I'd rather have mentally fit soldiers stood next to me than those hiding mental health issues. Clearly showing an immense level of naivety of what fighting fit actually means...
So what:
Soldiers' pay increases between a min of 6.8%, at WO1, and a high of 9.67, at Pte.
Officers' pay increase see a high of 8.5% at OF-1 Step 2, and low of 5.8% at OF6 at Step 6.

@piersmorgan
Congratulations sir!
@alexberesfordTV
has hit the nail right on the head about the quality of
@piersmorgan
on morning TV. A hateful individual who clearly was bullied at school and is now the bully. Go home and stay at home Piers Morgan.
@darkblueman21
Just think, you asked someone else if you could do an adult thing. That’s nice.
Whilst you did that, someone else had to contend with further repair delays of their internal water feature.
Some things are just not relevant in today’s society. This is definitely one of them.

… it used to be a tradition for the local lord to sleep with the new bride in Scotland… y’know.. traditions are traditions….. 🤷🏽♂️
@ComiskeyNathan
@paulm1402
That’s not what I said.
I’ve nothing against Jews. I have everything against Israel’s military actions and policy in Gaza.
Don’t misconstrue the idea that I said his point wasn’t balanced with the idea that all Jews should be punished.
@Eyeswideopen69
The reduction of overseas students is a massive blow for our Unis. We have a decent global reputation as educators; my wife and many of her friends were sponsored by her government to come and study in the U.K. due to the low level of Ed in her country.
This is baffling.
@macnab_colin
How does a hierarchical structure translate to treating people like children? It doesn’t… what we need is more trust in our mission command and more acceptance of our job as leaders to deal with those who abuse that trust.

@BWallaceMP
@PenFarthing
@Nowzad
I'm not. All that
@PenFarthing
has served to do is undermine a hugely difficult process by throwing his toys out of the pram all over the internet and news. The bottleneck was landing/takeoff and Sy on the ground.. he just served to complicate the matter through a private chart'
@ComiskeyNathan
@paulm1402
I didn’t find it offensive, I found it out of step with what is going on. Not once was there mention of the disproportionate use of force, not once did he balance anything he said.
@ComiskeyNathan
@paulm1402
Oh, I agree - a rise in antisemitism is wrong.
But I also believe that it is minor in comparison to the loss of life experienced at the hands of the IDF.
Fry, who also lambasted God, now identifies as a Jew and pays the collective victim.
@Mr_Andrew_Fox
Tell that to those in Estonia, or the Mali lot that had their UN pay taken away from them. This ended up with Brits on ops next to other nations who were getting paid MUCH more because their country actually paid the UN pay directly into the SP's pocket.
@TPlaysNow
@DrLoupis
You need to watch bullet train. He’s actually a really decent actor. We’ll all slate him until the movie release, much like we did with Craig 🤣😂 I hope he does it justice!
@Mr_Andrew_Fox
@HeidiBachram
Granted, but the phrase in itself doesn't actually break any of those - noting that it has been used on both sides since the Nakba. Furthermore, its weaponisation is a distraction. You should probably read more books Andrew, or stick to teaching leadership theory in the lines.
@wavellroom
@RUSI_org
‘Today’s Army is the most productive that it has ever been in my 38 years’
Read - Today's Army is smaller and we're doing more... which means our SP are overworked with by-product of SP feeling undervalued.
I didn't make this up - you can see it everywhere. Just ack' it.
@Mr_Andrew_Fox
I’m not sure I agree. Vocalising it like this sends the message that he 1) needs external help 2) warns those who perpetuate the problem 3) starts a change process very publicly
I don’t think it demotivates. If it does then the wrong msg is being received.
@ComiskeyNathan
@paulm1402
Neither do I. But you can still believe that and be against what is happening. His message was very one sided of current persecution. Rather disappointing.

In addition, I’d rather work with those who may have mental issues but have stood up and admitted they’re aware of their mental health and are mindful of where their boundaries may lay.

Why I also do is run through the following;
- Drink coffee (on a timer)
- Meditatation and yoga
- read 30 mins
- study a language
- shower
- 10 mins News catch up

It’s the comparison of death, caused by something… how is that apples and oranges?
It highlights that the Gov are ignoring the issue of road deaths over a global pandemic.

When the British Army talks about diversity and Inclusion, it doesn’t mean diversity of Chino colours included into your wardrobe…
🤨
@Mr_Andrew_Fox
I think my question still stands; where is the evidence that beards inculcate a lack of discipline? I’m not on the ‘freedom’ side of the argument, just want something with a bit more evidence than just a man Ex-reg opinion. No offence intended.

It’s great saying we need better kit and stockpiles… we also need to push the fact we need to look after our people better!
Better motivated people is directly proportional to high morale.
Bad housing, lack of a decent pay review, etc etc
@RobertClark87
I mean, what looks scruffy is subjective right?
I laugh crazily inside every time I see a member of a mess wear a mess-polo tucked into jeans or chinos. This looks utterly ridiculous.
But!
It doesn’t stop someone doing a good job.
@Mr_Andrew_Fox
Doesn't take away the fact that the purchasing power has been eroded. Also, subsidised food for those that live in, Gas&Elec bills are a thing and have gone up massively for SFA, free gym that is below standard across most camps I've been to and don't open at respectable hours.
@April_1970s
I forgot the inconvenience of not being able to travel for a day is the equivalent of others’ suffering.
I’ll try and remember to shed a tear tomorrow.

@paulm1402
Still, not what I said - I did compare, but never did I say that British Jews should, in your words, ‘suck it up’.
‘I’m done discussing this..’
I’m not. I never will be. Deal with it.
@Mr_Andrew_Fox
I would be adding charges to the invoices. I would have thought the smalls claims courts is where it would go? that's pretty shi**y too... 4k is a substantial amount to not pay.
@UnimportantO
I like this. Im sure I heard a story of an officer who had a visit instruction that said .. ‘don’t host’.
When OC LAD I didn’t put on anything special for our Corps Col, just the SP in the restroom with nibbles.. she worked the room awesomely!

Also... what are you towing that bloody boat, on land, with? A 100% renewable energy car? How did people arrive to your protest? By 100% renewable energy transport?
@Mr_Andrew_Fox
I've always advocated, as an ES SME, for the standardisation of Eqpt with our 'pref' partner' - which ever that may be (Leopard or Abrhms). A visit to rheinmetall back in '17 proved to me that spares and interop' are far more important that a gun that can fire an extra 500m.
@UKUN_NewYork
You can still vote for a resolution that saves life. The fact that it doesn’t explicitly condemn Hamas doesn’t stop it being one of the many right moves forward.

I’m glad they’ve recognised service, truley.
But maybe they could recognise a lack of service to employees - housing, pay relative decrease, pensions, ToS, etc,

That’s because it isn’t hard for Thai nationals in the U.K. to get a vaccine… nor has the U.K. fluffed up its procurement program…. Nor has the U.K. waged a war on so called Fake News in an attempt to cover up its failings… so you, apples and pears…

I’ve grown rather frustrated with his elementary and tactical analysis. He fails to really understand the impact Israel’s actions are having and will have on the future of the ME. Worrying, especially as a supposed history PHD candidate

I learned my first foreign language over 6 months which put me on a road of chasing DE focused roles, learning Korean and Japanese, and meeting my future wife (wedding at Christmas). So they’re defo life changing! 😊😊

That’s also not what I said. If you want to engage in a discussion, don’t put words into my mouth or misconstrue my point.
My point is that his speech was disappointingly micro and ignores a wider issue.
Furthermore, a 4.5% increase in SLA costs does not cancel out this pay rise.
4.5% of say, £180pm, is £8pm.
a payrise of 5%+£1000 of £25k is £27,250; an increase, pre-tax, of £2,250 py, so £187.50pm.
An Supp 2 OR2 on step 3 (£22,286), moving into step 4 at the same time as receiving the recent pay adjustment (£26,227), would receive the following:
Monthly extra take home after tax of £223.32.
Assumptions; no other credits and paying U.K. tax (not Scottish).
@D_S_Burchell
Do t apologise for your opinion 🤟
