Remarkable that a story based entirely on anonymous stories gets all the press while sourced refutations from witnesses are ignored. When I was a WSJ editor I insisted that no story contain more that 25% anonymous sourcing....my how things have changed...and not for the better.

My stepson became a US citizen in Afghanistan. I brought him here when he was 7. When he left for Marine boot camp, he said: “I want to earn my citizenship.” And he did....more than those who sent him to war. And I suspect he loves and gets the USA more than they do, too.
