Today we celebrate the wonderful role our transit workers play within our community!
If you see one of these signs on a bus seat, please don’t use it. Limiting the number of seats will help us with
#physicaldistancing
. Let's all do our part to help stop the spread.
You may have noticed that some of our buses are equipped with new
@PRESTOcard
devices! They have larger screens for a better user experience and new enhanced technology. Make sure when you tap, you are only tapping your PRESTO card (not your whole wallet, bag, or card sleeve).
Riders, don’t forget that we’re asking everyone to board through the rear doors.
When waiting for the bus, please give others space for physical distancing, and don’t crowd the doors while entering. Please do your part to help stop the spread.
As of today, non-medical masks are mandatory on all Brampton Transit buses and at our terminals. Fares have been reinstated, and all boarding will be through the front doors.
Please have your non-medical mask and PRESTO card ready before you leave the house today!
You may have seen these signs at a bus stop or one of our terminals. Please be mindful of those around you, and give others at least 2 metres (or 6 feet) of space to practice physical distancing. This includes lining up before boarding.
Please do your part to keep transit safe.
Physical distancing on Brampton Transit may not always be possible. It is strongly recommended that a non-medical mask be worn on our buses, at our terminals and shelters.
Info on how to wear, make and properly dispose of masks here .
Did you know that over 100 of our transit shelters are solar powered? You may have noticed the solar panels on the roof (like the one below at Heart Lake Terminal) ☀️
Not only is taking transit a green alternative, but waiting for transit is now too 😉

@UWGreaterTO
. We’re very proud to support.
Please remember, social distancing is possible if we all do our part. Please stay home and avoid non-essential travel, and don’t board any buses that are already half-full. Stay safe!
Something as small as taking only essential trips on our buses (essential work, grocery store, doctor/pharmacy), can make a big impact.
From us, to you, please do your part to help keep transit safe
#strongertogether
.
A salute to our essential workers who are working day and night for our community. Give us a call at 905-874-2999 for help. Our Contact Centre is open until 9 pm. We’ll be back bright and early at 7 am.
