@OwenJones84 I voted for a bit of stability and to get a measured voice into the leadership position. I was a big Corbyn fan, but thought that his "campaigning style" made Labour feel like a protest party instead of a formal opposition. But I now think we have the opposite problem.

Me and Jen moved into our London flat this week. 9 months since the offer went in, and we can finally step inside. Today the bed and wardrobes got finished, and after a few gas hiccups, the flat is now nice and warm. Tomorrow, we set up our telly and I build a desk.

A year ago today I was interviewed for my job at Essex Live. I spent 2 hours frantically running around Chelmsford in dress shows too small for me and a full suit on one of the hottest days of the year, begging independent restaurants to speak to me. Now I get PAID to do that.

My asthmatic, cancer-beating Nan, in her late 80s, caught Covid before Christmas, along with my Grandad. They've been isolating since then. Today my Grandad tested negative and they can both go outside. They got ill, but made a full recovery and never needed hospital treatment.
