My son has lived his entire life male. Even when we weren't on board! He is now almost a teen and has never wavered. All his friends are male, he loves school and sports. He will now not get blockers and be forced through female puberty. This is child abuse. I know. I'm his mum.

Ive been a teacher for 20 years, my husband has a 1st in psychology. We've 2 older cis kids. Trans is real, blockers help. He'll still be my baby when at 18 gets invasive top surgery because of this choice those claiming to protect children are making. Shameful. @HumzaYousaf ?

I let them go to the loo, none of them abused it, had good discipline. If kids feel safe & know you have theur back, they'll have yours.

@joss_prior My child is probably amongst the youngest to go on the sandyford waiting list in Scotland. He went on at 6. He is 9 and still two years away from being seen. The earliest he will get anything is 11-12 which will be reversible blockers to halt the wrong puberty. Nothing else!

@IsabelOakeshott My kids were happy to prioritise the sick and elderly. They learned to care about society as a whole. They found it easy to make some sacrifices to help keep granny alive and protect their daddy who has had cancer. Their teachers have praised their mental health and outlook.

@SandPans @mhdksafa Not popular but I'm just seeking the truth. I'm an amateur psychologist/anthropologist and crazily intense people watcher, I took years off when my kids were young, watched friends, playgroups etc. Parents raise boys SO DIFFERENT, sometimes subtle. This is a big problem. Huge.
