@J_MillerTV
My son was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma back in 2018. He’s now 5 years cancer free. Please reach out we’ve been in this world for a while and would love to help
5 years ago today Luke was diagnosed with stage 4 high risk Neuroblastoma. They told us he had a 30-40% chance of being alive by today. Miracles happen! Thank you God and everyone for looking out for him and us along the way!
4 years ago today, Dr. Greenfield, the brilliant neurosurgeon at
@MSKCancerCenter
, completely removed Luke’s recurrent brain tumor. It was the last time, God willing, he will ever have to deal with Neuroblastoma. 4 years in remission! God is good!
Today marks 5 years in remission for Luke. He did it! The odds are now in his favor that neuroblastoma will never return. We are eternally grateful to all who prayed for him, and the wonderful teams at
@MSKCancerCenter
and
@uncchildrens
who worked so hard to save his life!
Thanks everyone for your continued support and prayers. Just heard from
@MSKCancerCenter
and scans are all clear! Almost 4 years in remission now. Kicking

butt!
We’re on our way to
@MSKCancerCenter
for quarterly scans and his first meeting with the long term survivorship clinic!! Please keep Luke in your prayers. We’ve come so far!
#neuroblastoma
4 years ago today we arrived at UNC Children’s Hospital with no idea what stage 4 high risk Neuroblastoma was. 4 years later, Luke is over 3 years in remission and kicking NB to the curb for good. Thank you everyone for your support on this journey!
#neuroblastoma
Luke and I are off to New York tomorrow for quarterly scans. We are approaching 4 years in remission. Keep those prayers coming!
@MSKCancerCenter
#neuroblastoma
Thanks everyone who reached out- Luke remains no evidence of disease! November 2 will mark 3 years in remission. We are prayerful of remission forever and a cure!
I am urgently asking you to join my family in praying for Rachel-Ruth. Please pray for her heart to stabilize; for accurate diagnosis and treatment; for the doctor’s supernatural wisdom; for peace and comfort for all of us.
I am still no evidence of disease, 33 months and counting!!! I’ll get my last ever treatment for Neuroblastoma tomorrow, my 7th and final vaccine injection!
This brave guy is back in New York for his quarterly scans. If he gets the all clear it will be just about 4 years in remission. Keep him in your prayers as he continues to crush
#neuroblastoma
Happy 7th birthday to Luke. The odds you’d be here this day were not in your favor. The odds you’d be almost 5 years in remission were even less. Forever my hero!

Kirk Cousins having the worst loss of his career, calmly driving home with his wife and being able to talk about the game, then doing bedtime and prayers with his son that night is the most impressive thing so far in the show. That's a man.
@FiveThirtyEight
Our second son was diagnosed in utero with Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia. Maternal fetal medicine doctor said 50% survival chance and recommended abortion. He is now a healthy 19 months with no complications other than a smaller lung.
I say this with very minimal bias: we have some incredible senior football players who just won our school it’s first state championship and broke state records who are getting minimal interest. It’s flat out wrong. These kids can play. Transfer portal is really hurting hs kids
“Coach we’re gonna need his film, transcript, test scores, he’s gonna need to come to camp, he’s gonna need to come on a visit, he’s gonna need to meet with our hc..” then player gets offered by competitor. “We’re gonna offer”
His defense has taken down 2 of the finalists for Mr. Football,

So proud of my boys on Rare Disease Day. Luke had Neuroblastoma, a cancer that affects about 700 kids per year in the US. Carter was born with congenital diaphragmatic hernia which only 1500 kids are affected by in the US every year. God bless my boys!

Proud of this team. Consistently overachieved and gave their best. Sometimes it doesn’t go your way especially when you face a tough opponent like
@JTH_Vikings
. Proud to have coached you.
The Gibbons male and female athlete of the year are a state record holder and a national record holder and Olympic medalist! Incredible group of student athletes here.
Play football because you love the game, you love the brotherhood, you love the challenge, you love the excitement, and you love how awesome it is to be part of something bigger than yourself. The rest of the noise is all secondary and often times negative.
Congrats to
@NBbearsFB
!! We've played them the last few years and watched them grow each year and earn a state championship. Did it the right way! Trophy stays in the east again!

“I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle - victorious.”
Congrats
@DonovanShep_23
on being named Gibbons male athlete of the year. Well deserved. I’ll never forget your 539 yard NC record breaking night and you pounding away that night at Carter-Finley as long as I live!
“We love his film, coach. We’d need to see him at one our camps though.” What do you think our kids have, unlimited weekends and unlimited frequent flier miles??
@stillgray
Everything in my bones wants me to dislike the influencer, but I feel like she was more mature than the guy, and he was just being a pain to be a pain.
Tough one last night, but proud of the way our guys grew and fought all season long. This senior class won a lot of football games in 4 years and will never be forgotten. Hats off to
@MBrookFootball
, heck of a game and squad.
College coaches, you need to check out
@chet_yardley
. One of the top receivers in the state, over 1000 yards receiving, and came up with clutch catches and game winning plays in many games for us.
One of the toughest losses I can remember...but seeing our guys excelling in college football this weekend, and getting this pic from
@dlcarlucci1
makes the agony of defeat we sometimes face, all worth it. It's a great profession.
On this week's episode of The TJ Thorpe Show,

College coaches I implore you to learn about this kid. Power 5 football and basketball recruit, class of 2026. Off the charts athleticism, good grades, and just a great all around kid.

Instead of a 5th analyst, how about a director of emails receivable for college football teams. Can start small with just a “received, thank you” and grow into actual responses down the road.
