Idea from a buddy in distressed. Screen for $2Bn-$4Bn enterprise value companies with ~$100mm in equity value. If they truly don’t have default risk you can find some really juiced equity. Come to think of it, sounds like @verdadcap strategy.

When I was a kid (around 7 or so) I developed the habit of looking at restaurant bathrooms. Everytime my family would go to the restaurant my dad would say “Well Bill, how’s the bathroom?” I’d then predict food quality based on bathroom quality. It still works pretty darn well.
