There’s something profoundly comforting about reading stories where characters who are struggling are deeply loved by someone who isn’t scared of their flaws. Even if it’s fiction, it exists in someone’s mind, in their heart, which means it’s not impossible to find in real life
I bring it up again now with visuals.
Kazama family for sure have connections with birds, and interestingly enough, both Jun and Jin have a visual representation through crows at some point, which most likely shows dark sides of powers within them both.

HOLY FUCK I JUST REALISED
Jin's Devil wings differ from Kazuya's because of Jun, or more specific, her powers, channeling through the birds(dows and crows).
That makes sense why Harada said the reason DVJ form is different from original Devil is behind Kazama heritage.
Bro. The fact that Kazuya has a picture of Jun in his office during his ending is super adorable. So he DOES still care about her. This evil bastard does have a soft side after all 🥰
I'm sure this wasn't supposed to be in the

CBT Script.
This strongly confirms that dialogue variations of Rage Arts Finishers will be part of Story Mode.
It's interesting how despite having the same style and being a part of the same family, Jun and Asuka represents two different sides of the Kazama fighting style.
When Jun style for obvious reasons shows the spiritual side of it, Asuka's is more grounded and realistic.
sup, asukabros, was scrolling through my old tumblr posts and found some screenshots from old pachinko videos
they really old so sorry for quality
#AsukaKazama
Was rewatching parts of Blood Vengeance and look at this.
Subs most likely very incorrect everywhere, but funny how this line about understanding each other through fight returned to them both in T8.
@BuffGigas
He never smiled directly to Heihachi, isn't he?
And as I recall, in Art of Tekken artbook it was said that Jin supposed to be a mirror to Kazuya, so Kaz might be smiling to him cause he sense a familiarity in Jin, not only Devil.
@BuffGigas
sounds like "kakugoshii" which is i believe translates as "prepare yourself"
Xiao saying same thing in one of her universal intros - "kakugoshinasai"
*sorry in advance if i typed those transcribitions wrong
One of many missed opportunities in t8 main story was to connect these two.
You know, after their tt2 endings teased about their connection through Leo's mother?..
Her rage art sends both Reina and her opponent in some kind of parallel dimension.
Back in Yoshi profile it was said Mishimas used exorcists services before. Does that mean Reina one of them?
Or she more like connected with Hachijo Clan? That last shot is so Devilishly looking...

tinfoil hat predictions
Victor: Giant 007 reference. Intro=car stunt
Kuma: Electric Wind Bear Fist
Yoshi: Can stab himself to do more damage and prolong Heat
Reina: Mostly Heihachi+Kazumi flying stance
Zafina: Heat=Azazel transform
Shaheen: Heat=sword moves
Steve:
I wanted to finish my Kazama fam analisys first, but after Hwo reveal I think it's a good time to do a quick analysis of both Jin's special intros with Xiao and Hwo.
Both of them are the dearest and closest people, but their dynamic and story is different from each other.
To think of it, I can see Jin and Asuka dynamic as strict big bro/teacher and sometimes gremlin/out of control lil sister who can be really annoying sometimes.
But despite of that they could learn something from each other, especially about Kazama fighting style tenets

Well it's obvious than Kazuya KNOWS Jin's true iner intentions during t6, since he himself knows Devil too well, that on quote still very interesting to me.
Like he clearly wants to take Jin's powers and provoke him, but also gets us know Jin wasnt honest with himself during 6

- stealing screentime and plot relevance
- stealing(buying) family dojo
- stealing work as a gang mediator(tt2)
- stealing idendity
that's even creepier than I thought it can be and no, bad social skills is not excuse

Interesting how right after that fiasco bamco was like "nuh uh" and started to redeem xiao's character by making her important in side medias and main games(ie. blood vengeance movie, her t7 story episode, pachinko movies, Netflix series and now t8)
one of my favorite tropes are when a male and female friend duo are just absolute dumbasses together.
not a ship, purely platonic, neither of them with even an ounce of romantic intent between each other...just completely stupid together. Two dummies. Silly billies, if you will
So Valentine's Day is over but if you still alone, remember one thing:
Majima is everywhere, and he's in your heart, so you're actually not alone.
Even if you want to be.
You know what else points out that's gonna be a what-if ending besides that peaceful family reunion?
The fact that Jun, an ecological fighter, allowed Jin to arrive on FUCKING BIKE. Which runs on gasoline or smthng.
@Scrub4A
Let me remind you guys about Xiao literally dropped Jack in Dark resurrection intro and she's the one who handled a bunch of them in the story in 8.
Oh, and iirc tmm just dont like Asuka at all, hence the salt
Imagine if during this battle Kazuya will have flashbacks about confronting Jun back in T2 (a smart move from devs to reuse her classic outfit in story).
And those flashbacks wouldn't be a static images like in 7, but short scenes where Kaz will literally see Jun instead of Jin
Very nice detail
Kazama style is a defensive style, not offensive.
I don't know if anyone noticed, but jin looks much calmer than kazuya in the trailer. Kazuya attacks kinda desperately, while jin parries it calmly.
Jin looks serious, kazuya looks angry.
@BuffGigas
That could be actually a really good detail for a characters reacting at promo/demotion happening.
Like in TK4-6, when they had that little animations between rounds and during continue countdown.
Recently I realised that Kazama family crest looks like an eye of storm. Considering the family name literally means "the flowing wind", that cannot be just a coincidense, can it?
#TEKKEN8
That scene was really powerful back there. In last second Jin refused to follow the same path as Heihachi and Kazuya and actually had a development to be a worthy protag.
only to be ruined in later games and getting back on track 15 years later
Tekken 6 customize selection was the perfect one.
The variety of combinations, body parts customs have more options for legs and arms, hair custom...
Wish they brought it back along with tt2 decals
its gutwrenching to think about majima now… he’s been “ready to die” since age 20 and has thrown himself in front of bullets and knives for kiryu- but somehow, against his will, he lives long enough to see kiryu get cancer and be faced with the possibility of outliving him
#tekken8spoilers
Aight, I wanted to talk about it after I finish main story, but screw it.
I said before how I want this battle be not only a ref to Kaz vs Hei fight in the end 7, but also a ref for Kaz and Jun first meeting in 2.
Guess I got it... Sort of.
