According to @Donsarigo investigation, the toxic waste was dumped in Kargi, Marsabit. From the hydrology of the area, the toxic water must have found it's way to Milgis river polluting ground water all the way to Lorian swamp. Disastrous treason by those entrusted with power 1/4

No HELB. No remittance to Counties. No allowances for Foreign Service officers in foreign capitals. Delayed salaries. Meanwhile, we spent Kshs. 150B in March 2023 paying off loans. Uhuru Kenyatta was a disaster. Arguably worse than Moi in mismanagement of the economy.

@BillowKerrow Senior, instead of relying on government, why can't we as a community begin a class action suit that will compel all parties to appear in court and find a way out of this. The Kikuyu did it with Mau Mau cases and won compensation sixty years after the fact. 1/2

@kinjeketile If there's a country I've come to hate, it's UAE. From backing Sisi, undermining democracy in ME, gold smuggling, sponsoring the Yemen war, backing Abiy, RSF, Haftar, Farmajo. They have their dirty, sinister hands everywhere. For such a small state, they've caused havoc all over

Intelligence surveillance and the security sector in general works in this country. If we had the political will, we'd be a country of law and order.

Always amuses me how other races hold negative views on black people and we've largely kept to ourselves throughout human history. Not colonized or conquered others, kept our fights internal but those who've either brutalized us or haven't interacted with us seem to hate us.

Worked in a human rights organisation and I'm keen on human rights being upheld. But I've grown abit skeptical. with age and life has taught me that cops almost always know these criminals when they come for them. Also, few in society care considering what Nakuru had become.

Maasai and Borana were the pre-eminent military powers of East & Horn of Africa between 1600s and 1860s before Rinderpest and colonialism subdued both communities. This 1720s war between the two is evident in patrilineality of Gabbra, allies of Boran who took in Maasai PoWs.

An accurate assessment of the new forces shaping the world in their own horrible vision. Most of these Middle (Eastern) powers don't even have populations of 5 million but are undermining lives of hundred of millions elsewhere.

In multiple geopolitical hotspots, aggressively assertive middle powers are inflaming conflict, proliferating lethal weapons, reinvigorating dictatorships, undermining decades of Western investment in democratisation. A world led by new breed of middle powers a dangerous place.

@RamzZy_ You handled it with alot of grace and strength with all the eyes of the people on you. Not an easy journey as some of us can also attest but you come out a better, wiser version if well handled. More strength and power to you.

The reason such keeps happening is because no one pays for it. Set up bumps on escarpment descent into Naivasha leading to an accident that kills many. Bumps removed the next day. No one is held culpable. The moment we start litigation against KENHA, they'll think before such BS

The huge size of Northern Kenya can be seen in distance between towns. A few examples: Moyale to Mandera (383km) Garissa to Mandera (686km) Isiolo to Moyale (501km) For comparison: Nairobi to Eldoret (316km) Mombasa to Nakuru (649km) Nairobi to Mombasa (488km)

Fascinating to see Kenya flex on the regional stage. We are now calling shots in DRC, traditionally SA's patch. We are also leading talks between Tigray and Ethiopia. Chairmanship of regional bodies aside, seems ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ช's economic interests are driving our foreign policy.

In 517 AD, the Jewish King of the Yemeni Himyarite kingdom Dhu Nuwas massacred Christians in Najran. The incident infuriated Rome so much King Justin I sent the Axumite Ethiopian Christians to avenge, leading to the collapse of Himyar and occupation of Yemen by Axum.
