Over the past few weeks I’ve noticed a few artists I follow becoming discouraged by the continuing surge of AI art. It’s unfortunate to see as I find the act of creating to be the most rewarding part of art. Don’t give up just because others are abusing some cheap shortcuts.

So the Stalker “fan” film does genuinely look beans, but I’ve noticed a lot of bandwagoning posers who seem to think hating Gamma (or Anomaly itself) makes them “real fans”. I guarantee you a lot of the folks prattling on about “real stalker” haven’t even finished the trilogy.

Originally posted on Dec 7, 2022. Danya’s old design featured a harness with rifle magazine pouches. This was intentional, as I thought it would be cool for her to use salvaged gear and stuff the pouches with supplies. This just caused confusion however, so I later changed it.
