Today I provided care for an elderly gentleman with ‘dementia’ who was in pain. When our team went to see him, we found his memory was perfect! He just spoke Tamil. Language barriers are still some of the most significant barriers faced by seniors when accessing health care.

Kingston: has a test positivity of 0.98% and 26 pharmacies per 100,000 people offering the #COVID19Vaccine . Brampton (where many essential workers live): has a test positivity of 22.4%, but only 8 pharmacies per 100,000. This is systemic discrimination in action.

So...the CEOs of children's hospitals are begging for people to mask & the Chief Medical Officer of Health strongly recommended indoor masking...but the Premier and most of his MPPs, didn't wear a mask in the legislature today? This is EXACTLY why we needed a mask mandate.

So...Ontario underspent by $5.5 billion this year: On health care by $1.3 billion. On social supports (e.g. ODSP) by $1.1 billion. On education by $212 million. But...they're planning to spend $6 billion to build a new highway? It’s a question of priorities.
