Just spotted Jacob trending. Oh god, I thought. Turns out he tweeted a back to school photo and charming types are calling for my niece and nephews to be bullied etc etc. Twitter can be a cesspit but, personally, I’m not sure attacking children ever wins a debate.

This is why I don’t let my 8 year old daughter use the Internet. It is why I never wanted to stand for election after having my eldest. I pity people so incapable of understanding all people and all families are humans.

Does it really need saying that if *you* wish anyone dead - however much you dislike their politics - it makes *you* the bad person? Donald Trump isn’t my country’s leader, so not my vote at stake, but those wishing him harm are *probably* making it more likely he’s re-elected.

I really worry about Twitter. If you honestly believe anyone on a salary of €101k, plus office allowance of €52k each year, on top of three offices and €250k staff salaries NEEDS a free iPad, I’m not sure you ever meet normal people.

I have just voted against the only name on the ballot paper. Ursula von der Leyen would be a disaster for Britain, a disaster for the EU and a disaster for democracy.

I am a fan of sarcasm as a form of humour and Karl Henry is spot on, they still don’t get it. Perhaps reading 1984 might help Lammy understand why politicians’ “collective will to educate the public” is not how democracy works. Vote @brexitparty_uk to have your voice heard.

@DavidLammy @WarrenHaughton Yes, that’s the answer. Simply educate those of us who think self-governance is a good idea, until we ‘understand’ that we were duped into it. 🤣🤣🤣 Three long years after the result, and you still don’t get it! 🙈🙈🙈

He is right. There is no reason beyond spite why we couldn't have had a Canada-style deal. After all, we start from a position of identical regulations and standards . The EU has not at any point negotiated in good faith.

Voting Brexit Party elects Labour remainers in many seats. Is that really what fellow Leave supporters want? The system may have flaws, WA may not be perfect BUT is an antisemitic, socialist, remain government that will bankrupt UK & keep us in EU better? #VoteConservative
