Hello to the ppl who followed me bc of that motherhood post. Just a reminder that, aside from ER lore posting, I sometimes post and retweet NSFW fanart and other unsavory darkfic stuff like gore and incest. Ok bye 🫡
'looks like the dlc will be about motherhood' except Elden Ring has always been about motherhood. 🧵
Miquella returning to the womb to grow, Mohg placing him on a pelvic shape throne to be rebirthed.
The Omen Twins being rejected by their birth mother, driving Mohg to seek a new one in the Formless Mother and Morgott to desperately earn validation from Grace and the Order.
Rennala losing herself after the collapse of her family, becoming obsessed with birthing new lives that can ultimately never last. Rennala and her love for Ranni, who she supports unconditionally.
Tanith and her love for Rya, who she deceives but only out of desperation to save her from pain. Rya, who thinks of herself as unworthy of her adoptive mother's love but wants it all the same.
Alecto, trapped in Ranni's evergaol, anguishing over the death of her daughter Tiche who sacrificed herself to protect her mother, knowing it should have been her instead.
Millicent, fated to suffer the same curse as Malenia, but doing so without resentment and seeking instead to remind her of the pride she lost on the battlefield.
Fia desiring to be a mother to Those Who Live in Death, to shield the reviled from a prejudiced world. The D twins BEING reviled and finding solace within Marika's Order, the only ones to embrace them.
what it's like to be a D, hunter of the dead enthusiast in a fandom where half the people talking about him think he and his twin are the same person 🥰
@BowieTea
Mohg is still a foil to Morgott regardless of the nature of his actions with Miq. A lot of the complaints in the thread seem to be about feeling like they can't like him if what he did was sexual, so maybe the real issue is with ppl being puritanical about fictional characters?
@elden_things
created an amazing and beautiful cover art for my irredeemable porn!!! you can read the fic, also inspired by their genius idea of a mimic tear copying Darian, at
He may come from an wealthy background, with his set & weapon noting an aristocratic design. That's in line with Carians being noble sorcerers. His set also bears parallels with Moongrum's, specifically the placement of the glintstones on the armor.
@SamGatoGrande
It is part of the haligtree in malenia's arena. this is where miquella sealed himself in his cocoon, and the big opening is where he was torn from by mohg. we can make out the shape of miq's body growing in the roots. here ive tried to outline it for you :)
His pointed hat marks him as a heretic to the Academy. Typically heresy is a result of using magic that scales with faith rather than int. But there's another category of heresy outlined by the Lazuli robe: holding the moon in equal esteem to the stars.
It's all speculation based off breadcrumbs, but it's fun to see where the trail can take you. For a Tarnished, I feel like he has some interesting little links back to Caria that are fun to pick at.🙂
All that being said, I tend to imagine his story as someone who was wronged by his family/country. His set tells us he holds a lot of anger and fear and regret, and suffered from detachment his entire life. This could be linked to trauma/parenting issues.
The magic he sells/uses is Carian save the glintstone pebble & scholar's armament. Every sorcerer starts with the pebble. Scholar's armament is taught to Cuckoo knights. The rest are all Carian, most notable the spinning weapon, taught to Carian princesses.
If Rogier was wronged by a Carian society, would he show sympathy for the Cuckoo knights? The feather in his hat & use of scholar's armament could be signs of that. He speaks highly of the GO's ability to adapt, which is something Caria/Rennala, couldn't do after Radagon left.
Furthermore, his build is one that aligns with the prisoner class, with a thrusting sword and staff, and he matches the description of having 'studied glintsone sorcery among the elite'. This planted a 'what-if' in my mind:
@Kraken_Guard
Normally if a game had a woman get naked and this never happens to guys, I'd agree. But like she's literally rotting and grotesque, and is built like a person and not a sex doll.
@_7albi
theyre cuckoos, which lay their eggs in other birds' nests. it seems somewhat relevant to a Golden Order champion's marriage to a Liurnian sorcreress he couldn't defeat through conventional means, and also they are symbolic of unrequited love...
The most trivial connection is the use of an 'R' name. The game uses this as a convention for connecting the families of the demigods, and extends to their distant descendants such as Gostoc, Rya, and Millicent.
@_7albi
This shared phrasing highlights a potential divide in their ideologies, given that Miquella did not appear to extend refuge to TWLID, and may have developed the weapon arts used by the hunters of the dead. Hoping for more Godwyn in DLC to learn more of this, too!!
how problematic is your non-boss
#ELDENRING
fav???? i made this very thoroughly researched and totally accurate tier list to help you decide how ashamed of yourself you should be for doing media the wrong way!!!
d hunter of the dead, fia, and rogier for a tumblr anon. if theres ever an adaptation of elden ring, and these 3 are not in the most toxic, disgusting, bisexual love triangle, i will set things on fire.
D/rogier is the second most popular ER ship going by ao3 numbers. They are beat out only by Tarnished/Morgott, and I can think of no finer ship to lose to. Give that old man the love he deserves, you funky little omen fuckers.
i rambled for a billion words about the Age of the Duskborn ending. if you're deranged about
#ELDENRING
lore feel free to come read it and yell at me about how wrong i am on cohost:

"D is a fanatic murderer" my brethren in Marika did we play the same game because I have followed this man's career very closely and he seems to largely mope around the roundtable hold until he himself is murdered lmao
DID YOU KNOW THAT an ER YouTuber is stealing ppls art for their thumbnails, and profiting from this? If you're an ER fan artist who has drawn a female character, you may wanna scroll his channel and fire off a copyright claim
#EldenRingFanart
How can this guy commission a bunch of art of ER ladies for his shitty AI voices channel but still has to use MY art without my permission. Why didn't you just commission your artist to draw Sellen with glasses instead of using mine (against my TOS, no less). go jump into a ditch
As I visit the haematologist with my Mohg keychain, I feel returned to my catholic roots, looking on him as one may look on the pendant of a patron saint
Thanks
@elden_things
for making this possible 🙏
This place nearby is advertising grafted eyelashes and I have no idea what that means, so everyone in the ER tag (and Gostoc) gets to suffer

More ppl should write about Sorcerer Rogier, and how he gets dicked down on a regular basis by various folks but esp D, Hunter of the Dead. This is what I believe. thank you god bless 🙏
@Kraken_Guard
Beyond this, ER is loaded with powerful women warriors who dress in full non-titty armor, and women with complex, interesting stories that don't rely on men. This person can't disconnect nudity from sexualization and it shows 😊
@keijiluver
@BowieTea
It's supposed to be creepy. It is a dark fantasy game, with dark themes. It makes sense for you to feel bad for Miq, just as it makes sense for ppl to see the poor treatment Mohg suffered at his own mother's hands and feel bad for him.
@ManusCeles
i feel like roderika and boc are good contenders for entirely good/innocent. i cant think of anything remotely 'bad' theyve done, from what we know of them.
@empyrealviolet
i think theyre bodies buried at erdtree catacombs, afflicted with a sort of advanced deathblight. the worms are basically in a symbiosis with the undead, and produce more deathblight spores making more undead and more wormies.
All 4 Tarnished NPCs affiliated with the Golden Order were outcasts from their own societies. The GO preys on the unwanted and gives them a place to belong. The only cost of entry is unwavering dedication.
Adults who live with their parents are often mocked when they should be admired for their strength. I can barely endure visiting for holidays before wanting to throw myself out of a moving vehicle.
