@PaulbernalUK I am an overseas doctor but I agree with Keir Starmer. The UK *should* have more home-trained NHS staff. I do not think.what he said was xenophobic in any way. It would be so much cheaper for the NHS to avoid visa fees etc when hiring people from abroad. EU FoM would also help.

@supertanskiii I have been working in the NHS since 2015. Hospitals are now fuller, patients are waiting for longer in A+E and for electives. Severe understaffing in every sector. Poor salaries, poor morale, poor service. Longest strikes in the history of the NHS. ALL because of the Tories.

If people think that we, the junior doctors, are striking tomorrow asking for an "unfairly big" pay rise i.e. 35%.... Does that also not mean that having sustained an equivalent pay cut i.e. 35% is also unfairly big?
