If you're working on your resume tonight before applying to jobs this week, this is your reminder to remove passive language like "Responsible for" or "Duties Included". Opt for more POWERFUL action verbs. Need examples?

There will be a lot of posts soon with people sharing how much they achieved in 2020, in the midst of a global pandemic, etc. But in case someone needs to hear this, I’m here to tell you that just making it to Dec 2020 is an achievement. That alone will be something to celebrate.

If you've got an interview coming up, be sure to ask good questions! Questions allow you to learn more about the company, culture and values, and determine if they are truly a fit for you. It also shows your interest in them! Here are some examples of questions to ask:

When someone loses their job, it’s an extremely tough experience. There’s a lot to consider: bills, kids, retirement, etc etc. Then also, what it means for their future, the goals they set for themselves, the uncertainty of it all. Be supportive of your friends on the job search.
