4 of 5 kids are sick. Since Sunday, it has been the domino effect. 12 or so hours of intense puking, painful stomachs and left with a horrific cough and lethargy. It's hitting household after household. I've seen nothing like it but yes @ABDanielleSmith - masks cause harm. 😫🙄

In April of this year, I found out that 2 of my children needed a lot of dental work, work I couldn’t afford. Today, after multiple extractions, fillings & spacers, they had cleanings with no concerns! A big thank-you to government benefits, they now have healthy mouths!! 🦷🪥

My children just had 4 friends over. 2 of my children got into a sibling spat & just like that, their friends had to go home. I spent the next hour talking with my 2 about their actions & attitudes. Raising good humans is hard but I downright refuse to raise shitty ones.

This was my hair. It is the sign of a woman's submission to her husband in the cult and if a woman cut her hair, her husband could divorce her. After 26 years, the freedom to choose a haircut for my self was one of, if not the most cathartic experiences of my life.

My children have a friend who felt safe with us to share their truth and came out as non-binary, with a preferred name change. There were a few questions & we talked through them with honesty. Love, acceptance & respect shown from kids 11 & under. Hate is taught. Love wins. 🏳️‍⚧️

Today is Granddaughter day. I have 3 girls with 2 biological Grandpa’s who refuse to acknowledge they exist due to religion. However, there is one man who, with no children of his own, 5 yrs ago, chose them for his granddaughters & he is my stepdad. The power of chosen family. ❤️

Frankly, if u think u can raise five good children on your own 24:7, without child support, keep a home, work a job, try to write a blog, be a sports mom, be way below the poverty line & deal with a criminal court matter that bewilders the system, plz, step up or shut the fuck up
