Char, a high school student, and their mom Danielle, a physician, came by my office so I could notarize Char’s gender marker change. There’s something powerful about witnessing someone come closer to living their authentic life. May we all be able to live authentically. 💖

In the face of hate from so-called leaders, Ponoka just celebrated its first Pride. Despite organized, hateful protests, Westlock just voted to proceed with a rainbow crosswalk. It’s not easy. It never is. But this is how you do it. Keep at it, Alberta.
