They want you to think that buying vegetables from the local Hutterites and honey from the local hippy beekeeper is white supremacist-adjacent.
They fear local trade and governance because communities with genuine love and connection aren't nearly as reliant on a strong state.

"A fire broke out backstage in a theatre. A clown came out to warn the public; they thought it was a joke and applauded. He repeated it; the acclaim was even greater. I think that's how the world will end: to general applause from wits who believe it's a joke."
- Kierkegaard

Yuri Bezmenov warned us decades ago. If you take over institutions such as academia, you create generational brainwashing. It's difficult to fight bullshit in an institution when the bullshitters have all the institutional power.
I don't remember life before the war in Afghanistan, but at least I'll still get to know a world with a Taliban-controlled Afghanistan exactly like everyone else who lived before the war.
America would greatly benefit from a dacha culture.
It could provide lots of solutions to lots of our problems.
A garden, cabin, and community for all.
We have the land, but do we have the will?

Have you not watched him being led to slaughter since May of last year? No one should be shocked about the guilty verdict today. The intrigue comes in the (potential) appeals process.

One of the big ones I see among fellow Zoomers is the desire to live in small, low-density communities separated from the rest of society, but also wanting fast internet to stay connected with the super-dense online world.
20 acres with 20 GB/s is the dream for many.
@VaushV
If the Republican strategists were smart and thinking in the long-term, they'd move to abolish it quickly.
As soon as Texas flips blue, they'll never win the Electoral College. Their last hope will be a popular vote.
"Gorbachev just died? Wow. I didn't know that... He led an amazing life. What else can you say? He was an amazing man, whether you agree or not. He was an amazing man who led an amazing life. I'm actually sad to hear that."
Can't believe

cut me off before I could shoutout the boys at r/mma on the show. A retweet at least? That community drives this sport's online presence.
My mom - who I've never once seen paint in my life - made this on her very first try, on a whim.
Had to brag on here. I was so shocked and impressed, honestly, I didn't believe her at first.
Given the attack in Moscow, it feels like a good time to remind you about how the US blatantly backed Muslim terrorism against Russia for years

Don't panic as all the structures around you crumble, but rather, take note of which bricks in the rubble will prove useful in the construction of your new home.
The reason you see a bunch of full-grown young adults still obsessed with books like Harry Potter is because it was the last book series they managed to read fully before their brains' attention systems were fried by technology.
@LeonydusJohnson
People fail to think of themselves as one link on the chain of eternity. When they forget that they're part of something that both precedes and succeeds them, they have little will or desire to preserve the good they've been given.
That's atomization in a nutshell.
@hollowearthterf
"Girls love to give head."
"Right?"
"Yeah, sure. And men love to get it."
"Everybody likes to get it."
"Yes, it's very pleasurable, but men are obsessed with it. You wanna know why?"
"Yes. Why?"
"Because a man's essentially female."

5) Public Relations Informational Complex (PRIC): the glue that holds all other elements and institutions of The Powers That Be together.
The keepers of the narrative, those learned in the manipulation of our noosphere through the precise use of signs and symbols.
@esaagar
People think it's the Military Industrial Complex doing all the heavy lifting and corrupt shenanigans in the background.
But the Powers That Be have a bigger asset: the Public Relations Industrial Complex (PRIC)
Social media, comms teams, journalism, and IC all in one.

Controlling speech is the first step to controlling thoughts. You need to cut off the growth of totalitarianism at the root, not address it only once it blooms.
@arielhelwani
He should only take the fight in exchange for putting the Nicest Motherlover belt on the line. You don't have to show up on weight, just with a smile.
Gary Paulsen's book "Hatchet" convinced a couple generations of young men that they absolutely could live off the land if the situation called for it.
And for that, I am forever thankful.
@annakhachiyan
I don't know, I've known some autists who are absolutely drowning in women. Something to do with the lack of agreeableness and socialization might be attractive?
This was all planned to happen on 4/20 because a lot of the people who would be out rioting are now both pleased with the decision AND sedated.
Never forget that the government has used THC products as chemical weapons designed to subdue.
@MLiamMcCollum
It doesn't even need to be complicated by the fact the bombs were nuclear.
It's right to oppose dropping bombs on civilians.
For all that's wrong with the military-industrial complex, we should be thankful for the development of precision munitions and support their just use.
How long until we'll be unable to apply for a legal certificate of marriage without vaccine verification?
To receive a birth certificate for a child? A driver's license?
The slippery slope is a VERY real phenomenon.
Remember, when an atheist makes fun of religion by saying things like "How could people seriously believe in a bearded guy in the clouds?" it's only because they lack the ability to conceptualize God or the divine outside of literal and material terms.
I feel sorry for them.

My dad and grandfather always said "if you're not 10 minutes early, you're late."
I've always tried to live by that, never done me wrong. At worst, you get good at waiting patiently.

Libertarians have to admit that at this stage, the transition to a non-interventionist foreign policy will be messy and painful.
But sometimes you just have to pull the bandaid off.

If they're from the Vector Lab, it's in the small town of Koltsovo, not far from Novosibirsk. I used to live and work not far from there. Always had an uneasy feeling knowing they have smallpox sitting around somewhere in there.
All respect to the man screaming Captain Falcon quotes from Smash as he lifted serious weight at the gym.
Never seen him before, but his presence was unmissable.

Yeah man, just read the 2nd Amendment. It says "keep AND bear arms", not "and/or"
As such, you have no right simply to keep arms. No, you MUST bear them or your right is moot.
