Got myself a Pantabox - the true mobile wallbox. Usually mounted fix to a wall it can be converted into a mobile charger with just one lever pull.
Comes with an app, OTA updates and a very easy setup.
Developed and built in Germany.
A Model 3 in Weston Longville, UK, got hit by concrete blocks falling of an oncoming semi trailer (see dashcam video in the linked article)
The driver and his wife walked away with only minor cuts and bruises.
Tesla are such Incredible save cars
@elonmusk
That's so embarrassing.
German chancellor candidate Armin Laschet asked
@elonmusk
what is the future of cars: "hydrogen or electric?"
How can someone who still thinks hydrogen is a viable option be possibly elected?
I'm so embarrassed by this.
Sorry Elon.
@WholeMarsBlog
Robert Habeck of the Green Party in Germany created a new word:
"Teslageschwindigkeit" - "Tesla Speed", describing something that needs to happen fast.
"Building of power lines, renewable energy and LNG Terminals has to happen in Tesla Speed..."

@Tesla
Tesla is at the "IdeenExpo" in Hannover.
They brought a solar range extender trailer with Starlink.
And a Model Y with the 4680 structural battery pack.
Next to the Tesla stand is the VW stand. There are apparently more VW employees at the Tesla stand than Tesla employees.
So, i drove to Hannover today to get more information about the trailer.
Build by trainees at Tesla Automation as a proof of concept.
It has 3.2 kWp and a built in Powerwall for storage. It has multiple 230V outlets to provide power to other Devices/machines/cars

SpaceX delivered the hardware fast and without much bureaucracy, the setup was easy and took less than 30 min.

Heading home for Christmas.
Past 400 km were weather like this. Heavy Rain, tons of tire spray and bad visibility.
Autopilot did all the driving, like it was on rails. It's such an amazing technology. Live safer.
@elonmusk
In 2023 the German government incentives for electric cars will be reduced.
Since Tesla can't fullfil all orders this year they will cover the difference if you order till December 31st but receive car in 2023.
Nice move
@Tesla
Tesla Model 3 (all versions) are now complety sold out for Q1 in Europe. All versions now have an EDD in Q2.
Performance jumped to May today.
We are 10 days into the first quarter and Tesla is already out of model 3s. Crazy!
Europe doing its part for another record quarter
NEWS:
Tesla is sending out emails asking Model Y Performance reservation holders in Germany to complete their profile (delivery location, payment method).
For black/black Model Y EDD still says March 2022.
Those cars will be Berlin made.
Was watching a video about VW Software 3.0 by
@nextmove_de
. Travel assist got huge improvements.
- automatic lanechange
- detection of roundabouts
- slowing prior to sign
- emergency lane in traffic jams
- sign recognition
your turn now
@Tesla
@elonmusk
. Europeans are waiting.
I just want to thank
@Tesla
for that amazing day.
It was a really great event, great atmosphere, good music and food.
Really Beautiful Model Y and happy new owners.
Keep doing what you doing, because you guys rock!!
Thank you for your hard work, team of the giga Berlin!
Elon in Berlin <3
Q: why are you here?
E(lon): Giga Berlin had a nice name to it
Q: Any Problems with the german [bureaucracy]
E: We´re making pretty good progress[...] so far so good
Q: When will we get the first car out[...]
A: hopefully end of this year
Autopilot. Beeing an asset in heavy Rain with low visibility. Never ever want to drive a car without autopilot again. And it's included with every new Tesla
One of the first LR AWD Refresh delivered in Europe. Outstanding build quality. Perfect paint and panel gaps. Almost no wind noise inside. Nice feel to the new center console. Still the old headlights tho. Very happy :) Thank you

BREAKING:
Tesla already opened the first superchargers for non-tesla cars.
They added a new filter on the website. First open chargers are showing up in the Netherlands
First evidence on video of a Tesla reading digital speed signs on a highway in the UK after updating to 2022.20.5.
Can't wait for this in Germany. Please hurry

Interesting changes in the model y performance build in Berlin.
Seems like Tesla improved the sound proofing by adding more foam, compared to the china build Model Y LR AWD (MiC)

Just drove the Model Y again at night.
The new headlights are sooo much better than the ones on my model 3.
Any chance
@Tesla
will over a paid retrofit in the future

@WholeMarsBlog
If I am the third car in a row and the first one stops, my model 3 can detect that by bouncing the radar waves underneath the car directly on front. Will this still work with pure vision?
In case you missed it. Tesla "hid" a crimson red model y in the paint shop of giga berlin - brandenburg during the county fair. Nice little easter egg.

Could you also update the automatic highbeam Assist?
It's detecting incoming traffic to late and turns on highbeam in cites and on the Autobahn, which is prohibited in germany. Thank you :)
THIS IS NOT AN APRIL FOOLS JOKE
Tesla increased the price of the Model 3 RWD by 7000€ in Germany to 49990€
With that, the Model 3 is no longer able to get the 9000€ incentives by the government. It know only gets 7500€
Hater: Tesla is just a car company.Autopilot won't work
Tesla:
- builds supercomputer (
#5
in the world computing powerwise)
- has a dataset of 1 million videos (10s at 36fps), 1.5 petabyte large, 6 billion annotations)
- runs code on a custom chip
- fleet data sourcing
Ok then.
MYP delivered in Germany today without radar. Adaptive Cruise Control works up to 150 kph, Autopilot is limited to 130 kph.

Oh no.
Giga012, the 12th Model Y Performance delivered at the factory event at giga Berlin was already in an accident.
Someone drove into it at a red light :(
Tesla dropped the leasing interest rate to 0.99% for model 3/y if you take delivery until March 31st in Germany.
Financing rate dropped to 1.97% for 3/Y
2022.20 release notes
- Seat restraint system - seat belt tightening for a broader variety of crashes
- Suspension - the car now uses data collected by other Teslas to adjust the suspension for rough street patches
- Green light charm for basic AP/EAP
NEWS:
Tesla has a new option in the Tesla app when your car is in for service under warranty.
You can now accept a loaner car offer via the app. You'll see details for the car (color, VIN, odometer) and gain app access (phone key).

Seems like Tesla is preparing the order page for the Texas Model Y Standard AWD.
MTY14 was a while back a Long Range AWD, then it changed to a Model Y AWD (with same figures as the LR AWD).
Today they updated the range and acceleration to match the values from the EPA document
And there he is: Phoenix
@Tesla
most comfortable, quietest and most efficient car.
Build quality is perfect, as always with the Chinese cars.
And maps are downloading on a Supercharger with internet provided by

On the last stretch of my Roadtrip yesterday I turned autopilot on at the onramp and switched it off at the offramp 187km/116mi later. All I had to do was adjust speed and confirm lanechanges.
Autopilot is such a game changer. Can't even imagine ever driving a car w/o it again
I have absolutely no doubt:
The model y will sell like crazy in Europe.
Perfect size, big trunk, raised seating.
It's also very efficient for a car of this size but can still give you the tesla smile when you put your foot down.
Once giga Berlin is up they will be everywhere.
I know you are very busy with the FSD beta Updates
@elonmusk
.
But you promised AP Updates for outside the US for march and they haven't happened yet.
Will you still release an update or is this off the table?
Asking for every Ap user in europe
Tesla just posted a very important job offer in Europe!
Work with the UNECE and other regulatory agencies to enable more advanced driver assistant systems and allow Tesla to test their Systems.

Without the left car, the right one wouldn't exist. Thank you OG Roadster buyers and early Tesla supporters.
And funny how much larger even the model 3 is.
This is huge!
Tesla removed the radar mention for model 3 and y on the US site.
().
Instead they now mention a 250m powerful visual processing.
See radar mentioning on the German website for comparison.
Tesla seems to be entering the energy market in south Africa.
The website shows options for Powerwall installation and mega packs.
No cars are being offered at this point
Testing smart summon on a parking lot.
Older couple approached "are you happy with the car?"
Me: "yes definitely, I never want to drive anything else"
Couple: "oh nice, we ordered one ourself. Never driven one before. We talked to multiple drivers. Everybody says the same as you"
Hey
@elonmusk
Could
@Tesla
show the European Autopilot some love?
We need:
- a way to report wrong speed limits since map data quality is poor in Europe
- speed sign recognition on the Autobahn and of digital signs
- slowing down prior to passing a speed limit sign, not after
Tesla just opened a bunch of new ADAS test operator positions all over Europe!!!
UK, Finland, Switzerland, Sweden, Netherlands, Austria, Spain, Norway, Italy and turkey are all looking for a new Test operator.

@Tesla
please bring back the function where the Tesla automatically turns the lights on when the wipers are active (or rain is detected).
And the FUD continues. German news outlet NTV published an articel claiming the German manufacturers are overtaking tesla. Teslas biggest disadvantage is the lack of plug- in hybrids. How can anyone be this wrong in 2021?

The game is on

Bring autopilot back to the top spot for the best ADAS system in Europe.
To do so, we need speed sign recognition everywhere, roundabout detection, proactive slow down for curves, slow down prior to a sign, emergency lane building and more.
Travel Assist takes up the race for the top spot. Bringing closer the feeling of
#AutonomousDriving
. We‘re delighted about the very good feedback on our latest software.
@cariad_tech
The Model 3 Highland has quite a few active/passive safety and comfort improvements:
1. Double powered dampeners on the trunk
2. Metal hooks on the doors. Keeps them aligned in a crash
3. Active hood for additional pedestrian protection in case of a crash.
Great job
@teslaeurope
Didn't know that one. Tesla will include idle fees in the displayed Supercharger cost. The idle fees will be listed separately for maximum transparency.
