A dentist told me I needed $2500 of work done urgently and I was so freaked out bc I’m uninsured so I got a dental discount plan and went to a dentist who takes it, who said, “uhhhhh no they were taking you for a ride, come back in 6 months for cleaning” and didn’t charge me 😑

Recently had a patient who stopped taking their meds bc of something they saw on Facebook. My attending didn’t shame them, tell them they were wrong, or get preachy - just apologized for the confusion and walked them through their concerns. Patient back on meds. 🥳 made me happy
