Better arm talent. More accurate to all levels of the field. Actually targets all levels of the field unlike Jayden who avoids MOF and intermediate throws in general. Converts fewer pressures into sacks. Buys time with his legs to make throws doesn't just take off running like JD

Justin Fields last 17 starts: 263/425 (61.9%), 3088 yds, 26 tds, 12 ints, 7.3 YPA, 92.6 rating, 1239 rushing yards, 8 rushing tds. Did the last 17 which still includes some clunkers so I wasn't accused of cherry picking but I dunno man that seems like a useful football player

It's really funny how you say "as a former NFL scout I have a 4th round grade on Caleb Williams" as tho the first part of the sentence legitimizes the second part when really the second part explains the first.

As a former #NFL Scout, I donโ€™t do this for clicks. My end game is a 2nd chance in the NFL. I have a 4th round grade on Caleb Williams. With the way folks โ€˜keep the receipts,โ€™ I had to make sure, so I evaluated every snap the past 2 seasons. Heโ€™s not it.

Credit to Matt Eberflus. The overwhelming majority of resources the Bears have spent this offseason have been on offense. He's actually letting his side of the ball take the hit for the good of the franchise QB.

We've had the Luck/Lawrence pick fall into our laps. Panthers fans screaming/puking at what they lost. teams out there are trapped with Kenny Pickett. We have won the lottery and will pair an elite prospect w the best supporting cast in first pick history. We are FURIOUS about it

Iโ€™ve never seen a fanbase madder to have the first overall pick than Chicago this year, itโ€™s truly an amazing sight to behold. Fanbase civil war over having first/best dibs possible to grab a franchise QB without having to sacrifice a single thing is so funny to me

. @FlemFile on what a former NFL scout told him about Caleb Williams: "Raw emotion is great, but Caleb's thing? That was ridiculous to me. That threw up major red flags. ... I will tell you, he scares the sh*t out of a lot of NFL teams too. The book on him is he's just kind of a

I love that Caleb Williams is presented as too risky but MHJ is a sure thing like WRs never bust. From 2009-21 just 43.8% of WRs taken top 10 have signed (or are projected to sign) a 2nd deal w the team that drafted them while 80% of the QBs taken at 1 in that time have

@lordsoftheseth Pretty much every defense I've seen of Ben just leaving the guy alive when he's cracked like an egg and wheezing for air ignores that he'd later ask the guy's own son to kill him off

The Bears are not keeping Justin Fields. It's not happening. The "no substantial talks" line from Rap is a face saving line from the team bc no one's made a serious offer even though the for sale sign has been up for a month.

I don't think Pritzker is a leftist or anything but notice how effective a Democrat can be by simply doing the things that *other democrats* nominally support but never actually do. He's not afraid to act. Crazy how that works

I feel bad for Tyson Bagent, man. He played very well for a rookie backup operating a very limited offense, anyone with a brain knew he'd be overmatched the more he played but the usual train of stupid puffed him up into the next Kurt Warner

I know Bears fans loved him cuz he was the last guy to give up on Fields but the way he just sticks to his priors over reality is so annoying. What rookie QB is gonna have DJ Moore and Keenan Allen? How is Chicago not a good landing spot for the kid now? "Bears history" is dumb

It really is funny the Cowboys have had Romo and Dak back to back. Two quarterbacks who are good to great by every metric that measures QB play we've ever developed who save all of their worst plays for the exact worst time over and over and over

What's baffling is that by basically every metric we have advanced or otherwise Fields was a better college passer than Bryce Young while also being bigger stronger and faster with more arm talent. If they were in the same draft Fields would outrank him. Recency bias is nuts

David Montgomery's already comfortable in Detroit in his traditional role as "guy who makes you wonder why he gets more snaps than the other, faster guy"
