Abuja artists are actually special, they don’t sound like they make music under pressure of streaming result, they create as they want to and hope it works alright, and sometimes it does. The most diverse music, the S in Afrobeats comes from Abuja.

This was a moment, 2020 was a movie, so many fun things happened at the comfort of our homes, we got more addicted to our phones but it was fun.

Real! Lol cause why is she touching her hair so much, in my opinion she’s the one that is nervous but swaelee is high asf.
I want an X circle of 9 people. 3 babes and 4 guys.Basically just share and promote each other’s ideas and constantly interact with each others tweets and spaces everyday, must be very opinionated and have a particular topic they like to tweet about. Hit my Dm. People are boring
How Burna makes good music always no matter who features him is actually mysterious. He’s not “afro fusion-ing” it’s more like Afro hybrid. He doesn’t bring his stuff down to blend in, he elevates it with his version, even if it’s some kind of sampling wave, it’s always lit.
Afrobeats is not dead you just want better songs from Wizkid, Davido and Dbanj but they’ve been in the industry for over a decade they will sound the same over time, but there’s Azanti, Dai verse, Llona, Tayo creed, OluwaMillar, Yimeeka, bloody civilian, Feline etc
Why is this so hard?????? These NSG guys do this afrobeats so well, it’s so sweet. Mixing the lingua in with their accent and swag, you can hear the steeze on the track. It’s not even tiring and it’s funny how it’s supposed to be a love song but they ft blaqbonez 😂😭
Ololufe by wizkid. That song doesn’t seem to get old on me. The replay value is crazy. Each time I listen to it I feel like I’m in a South African club vibing and having a cool time in a bucket hat, a shade and some cool sweater.
Every artist is unique in their own way… you don’t have to copy the next man’s formula…just gotta stay true and pure to your art and let it grow with you as you develop yourself.
Na so I just Dey jam music and I ran into this shawty’s music. Her voice is special. Y’all should tap into Yimeeka she’s got a different perspective with her delivery. Enjoyed this song thoroughly.
You see this song? When I saw it posted by The Arena, I added it to my playlist, I heard it and instantly started to miss my ex, sent it to her.
That “Time after time” reminds me of
@JorjaSmith

A team of African music scholars need to define what Afrobeats is in writing. Is it a term used to describe all music from Africa or it’s a genre of its own?. What makes for an Afrobeats song? That’s the balance I want to strike here.
Hey, you! Take a sit and let’s have short talk about Ckay. He created a sound so easy to digest you can feel your mind slide in endorphins, ‘sad romance’ was meant to be a sad sound but nope it’s a beautiful project that makes people happy with song like ‘by now’
Everyone that Ajebo hustlers featured sounds like the songs were made for them. Did you hear Magix? Raebel?, King promise? This is undoubtedly the best project this year.
