Do we HAVE to have a storm every fucking weekend now? Is that it? 2020, post Brexit, and all we’ve had are fucking storms and diseases.
I might move to a tiny tiny island and live out my days in a coconut bra eating bananas and fish I’ve caught using my knickers.
Today has been overwhelming to say the least but I have been so moved by all your comments.
I’m incredibly proud of our show & what it stands for.
The inclusivity, the representation, the physical & mental health issues raised & all between.
It has heart.
And that’s rare. ❤️
My gorgeous playmate
@Wraggywraggster
left Holby General this evening. She’s been a part of my world since I started on the show and I adore the bones of her. Her humour, her love, her talent, all come in droves. You’ll be massively missed. My Sffftephen. ❤️
My heart is bursting with sadness, love and pride.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this incredible show. Thank you adopting me into the family. I will forever be grateful.
Thank you all for watching us.
And thank you to our NHS.
It’s been an absolute honour.
My dear old Grandad fell down his stairs last weekend. He’s in a bad way. Didn’t recognise anyone for a few days. Confused & scared.
He’s improved this week.
Not only because of Mum, but all the Dr’s & nurses at Southampton Hospital.
Once again, so much love for the NHS. ❤️
As soon as I am able, I am driving to the seaside and I’m going to sit there under a blanket, eating fish and chips and watching the waves come in.
I haven’t seen the ocean all year and I can feel it.
Welcome to the family, Arthur John Ames.
My youngest brother Jonathan and his incredible girlfriend Lais gave birth very early this morning to the most perfect little creature. ❤️
Merry Christmas to you all.
Love each other and be kind.
I hope you and yours feel warmth, happiness and comfort at this time of year.
Big massive love from me x
Thank you for all the kind and lovely comments about tonight’s (and Tuesdays) episode.
Every single person involved was on their A game. Cast, crew, director, writers...the whole damn family.
Couldn’t be more proud of everyone.
My grandad Alf & my family dog Bob both passed away last weekend.
The last few days have been a real kick for me & my family.
This morning, my brother Ashley & his amazing fiancé Jess gave birth to Archie Jack Ames.
Life is just a series of hellos & goodbyes.
Make ‘em count.

Living a lie or not as your authentic self can be so all-consuming and toxic. Because of his position, his announcement will likely prompt many others to question themselves and to open that door too. Huge love and respect to him and his family. ❤️
Thank you for your wonderful messages about Holby this evening. They really mean a great deal.
My grandad presently has vascular dementia. Some days he’s present. Some days he’s not. So this storyline is one very close to my heart. Julia Deakin, as ever, smashes every scene. ❤️
@bbcquestiontime
This is deliberate phrasing and it’s not only insulting but damaging.
I hope the increase in heated Tweets/responses to this is worth the suggestion that learning of the mere existence of a minority is immoral.
I starred in a West End play tonight.
Minimal sleep & SO much to remember. But I did it.
Whilst there’s a lot to perfect, fuck I’m proud of myself.
The last time I did theatre was 10 years ago.
The other actors & everyone involved were incredible.
Blessed to be alongside them. ❤️
In Holby it’s nearly November.
So today I have jeans on.
Jeans.
Denim.
Trousers.
Covering my whole legs.
Every inch.
*The sad sound of a sodden scrotum being peeled off a thigh*
As someone who’s Mum presently works for the NHS, I found it super emotional to lean out my window and listen to my whole street applaud loudly just now.
What you all do is astounding and by far our proudest achievement as a nation.
We are all eternally grateful. ❤️

He was always going to set fire to everything when he left. Because he didn’t care about the people or the job. He cared about the power. Which has now been taken from him. So, like a child, he’d sooner break the toy than pass it on and let someone else play with it.
