Rohit Football Academy was the first private football academy in Odisha, started by former Odisha and BNR goalkeeper Amarendra Singh in memory of his eldest son. Mr Singh dedicated his entire life's earnings into providing free food, kits, boots, etc. to underprivileged kids.

Located right in the vicinity of Stewart School and Stewart Science College, the library is also quite close to St Joseph's, SB Women's College, New Stewart, Christ College, St Xavier's, Cambridge, etc. Very convenient for students to pick up books without having to travel far.

The man was the caretaker of the library who lived in a small patch of land behind the building. He led us upstairs to a room, in similar tumbledown state as the one on the ground floor. The Urdu Library signboard was lying on one corner, gathering both dust and rust.

Lost my maternal grandfather today. A man truly ahead of his time. Fiercely anti-casteist, PC Mishra, much to the annoyance of many upper caste families, would invite "untouchables" to his home and serve them food cooked by my grandma. Never met a anyone with a bigger heart.
