Hi
#FlutterFriends
, I have some exciting news to share
😃
I start my first day of work today
@getstream_io
as a Flutter SDK Engineer focusing on our
#Flutter
SDKs!
I am really excited to be working with Flutter full time and to continue contributing and helping the community💙
Starting tomorrow I'm gonna be sharing App ideas (for your portfolio or side projects) that you'll be able to implement with Flutter under the hashtag
#FlutterAppIdea
. Those are ideas I had for a while but never executed on them because I'm already busy with other things.
@will_ye_
The responses haha. Either people responding to your post failed the Turing test and are clearly robots or engaging on LinkedIn all day long made them brain dead haha
With Flutter, you can either learn slowly, learn about state management, RenderObject, TDD, or either have fun, build and clone stuff and learn along the way.
Hey
#Rustlang
folks! 🦀 Excited to share my Rust adventure:
#ToyDB
, a fun open-source project & learning resource. Help me promote it on Reddit: 🚀 Let's learn & grow together! 📚💡
📣 There are 48 hours left until
#FlutterEngage
!
We will bring the announcements, you bring yourself. Egg-citement overload!

Be sure to sign up, if you haven’t already, and we will see you at the show on March 3rd 👉
Hey
#flutter

As promised, it's time to introduce you your new in-app friend!
After month working on it we are now almost ready for letting you play with it.
Hope you'll love it! 💙

How do you make your family and friends understand that computer science is work? 🤦♂️countless times I get interrupted during meetings and stuff. I mean if I were a surgeon or a chef cook would you interrupt me in my work?
I don't know who need to hear this but trust your gut, you are probably working your ass off right now for no visible results but someday it going to pay off one way or another and the puzzle is going to take shape

n°1: a git GUI client. The heart of the program is to draw a git tree. The easiest way to start is to look upon StackOverflow or Github and port a project using HTML/canvas to Flutter CustomPainter. For the other parts inspire yourself from vscode source code.
Introvert issues: we are too empathic. Trying to understand deeply the experiences and feelings of other people can be tiring 😪. Happens in GitHub support or as an interviewer
Why so many burnouts? Too many things rely on devs. A missing wireframe, which would be key to understanding some app flow, go figure it out. No prototype? No problem, I can extrapolate the navigation. No DevOps? Oh, I can do some. No datascientist? Oh I can dabble in python 🙂
The problem with developing an app for yourself, after a certain amount of time you usually develop unconsciously the ability to navigate through the bugs, avoiding certain parts of the app where you wrote some shady code. Don't you agree?
Hey
@FlutterDev
, I'm currently involved in a 🇫🇷project called Asso². We're making an app aimed at making it easier for people to find and take part in volunteer missions. If you want to be part of this do check it out here or DM me for more Infos
Yesterday I wrote my first parser in
@rustlang
using nom . It was a fun little project to get familiar with the nom api but I'd like to write other parsers in the future. Does rust-av or other orgs have some needs? cc
