@MantasRukuiza Feels like i explained this a hundred times... All commercial aircraft are equipped with an ADS-B transponder. This broadcasts the position of the aircraft to everyone around it telling position, altitude, speed, type of aircraft, heading and a bunch of other parameters.

After a week and around 100k wasted screenshots i finally caught the Baltic Jammer (or its sea-based twin?) during a whole session. The clip was recorded May 27-28:th. Timestamps are (GMT+2) Antenna at 20m ASL from south-east Sweden pointing around 135 degrees to the south east.

Several ships calling out "having no GPS for hours" last night. Not sure what to make of this, if its "man-made" or a technical issue. At a first glance it does not seem to affect positions reported by AIS.

@IntelDoge Correct. Someone does not know what a CDN does. If you (as a visitor) gets routed via Moscow, YOU are the one closer to Russia, not the server. The purpose of a CDN is to direct you to the distribution point closest to you, with a cached copy of the site.

We are now into the longest silence from the Baltic Jammer since the start. 8 days 13 hours of lovely GNSS-reception, since March 28:th. This does coincide with a An-124 landing on the 29:th. The question is what they left or came with... (Previous An-124 visit January 23:rd)

This is probably the Baltic Jammer (or its sea based brother) and how it looks on the radio spectrum. I managed to get a Inmarsat antenna up on the 28:th at the south east corner of Sweden and pointed it south east (~135° 20m ASL) as the AIS/GPS issues was ongoing.

By looking at ADS-B frames with NACp 7 or lower we can draw a simple polygon by hand and visualize what has been affected (within my receiver range). Though i would say, listening in on ATC, the issue looks the same all over south-eastern Poland at least.

@auonsson There is also extremely good conditions on VHF currently due to weather which increases the reach of the AIS signals by 5-6 times. This could give strange data to MT due to the increase in number of stations delivering the same AIS-packet. Graph shows a Baltic MT receiver.

A little trickier to spot the end today but if examine the actual ADS-B frames the last bad report (NACp≤0) came from QTR49K at 06:12. To put that in perspective, there has been ~22000 ADS-B-frames since 06:12 (1 hour 12 minutes) and not a SINGLE one being bad.
