So, the dust has settled. That penalty should have been retaken. You are not allowed to charge/move when a kicker is taking a kick at goal. BUT we drew. With France, in France & was a kick away from winning. A performance built on heroic defence. A real moment for this side.

Just feel totally demoralised. Came so close yet again and just that little bit of composure costs us yet again. What a bitter pill to swallow, especially when we seemingly had zero luck with the referee. Competitive in every single match for maybe the first time ever?

Itโ€™s Ireland. They beat France convincingly last week. It was always going to be a huge challenge but we didnโ€™t ever let Ireland run riot today. We didnโ€™t play very well & thatโ€™s a shame but good teams make you play badly. Lots to work on, bigger games to come for us. ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น

Could not agree more. The commentary from ITV continues to downplay Italy. The narrative is either brilliant Ireland or poor Italyโ€ฆ it doesnโ€™t seem to work both ways. But itโ€™s no shock when there is ZERO Italian representation on either comms or punditry team.

Got some positive news on Riccioni. Apparently it is more of a bad twist than anything too serious. So hopefully it is a matter of weeks out and he can make the #RWC2023 Would hope for confirmation sooner rather than later.
