Running a ‘few errands’ with Chris Morrow, Manager (and pilot-one of his many skills) at Nerrima Station… getting a pick up from neighbouring Liveringa Station… 5m croc on the lagoon on the way out…

"This is 3-year-old Myf singing to her horses, Chester and Teddy. They wandered up to investigate her singing & ended up being serenaded to sleep. She's an Aussie country girl who enjoys having her animals around her."

School has just started for the year, so finally it was time to pull out the flamingo costume. All 3 kids that got off the bus are ours, eldest played it so cool - ‘that man is not my father!’" 🚌🦩😂🇦🇺

Have a good weekend... and a timely reminder: big old gum trees are called 'widow makers' for a reason. Suggest not camping under them or parking under them. The branches can let go with no warning in perfectly still conditions...from Camping in Western Australia FB page...
RFTTE member Maree Burton: this my son Jason. Left school @ 14 cause of dyslexia, worked hard ever since. Now 29. This is 1st roadtrain he bought himself.
Pic on Barkley Tablelands where he was cutting, baling & carting hay. Each trailer has 52 to 56 bales.

Up for some hard yakka? 93 yrs ago, Bill Cestrilli established the CBH record for lumping & stacking the greatest number of wheat bags in one day.
At Miling, WA, Bill stacked a whopping 1,725 bags of wheat in 8 hours - equating to 143 tonnes of grain. Not bad for a 74kg man!
Bourke has barely seen water on the ground for about 5 years! Since 10pm last night they’ve recorded 95mm! The November record has come close to be broken & this is now the scene!

Some of you will know, when at a water bore, how to start the old 2stroke Honda motor with a rope (with a knot at the end)…this is same concept on a grander scale 😉

“Last of the cattle being trucked away for the year. 32 decks GONE (6 road trains). Mr Chardy has tried to truck these cattle a couple of times but rain has played havoc. He can now breath a sigh of relief. A 1.7m acre NT station, 5 hours (12 gates) from town” c/o Miss Chardy
'🚛Without Trucks Australia Stops🚛' There is no better statement to consider today as the Great Northern Highway South of Broome re-opened this morning to freight trucks & high clearance 4WD's. Thanks to the Truckies. 📸 Richard Young Photography via
