The Texas Rangers send their thoughts and prayers to the family of the team’s radio network engineer Ted Nichols-Payne, who passed away suddenly on Sunday afternoon at the age of 56. He was the the primary radio engineer of Rangers broadcasts for most of the last 30 years.

When Colon retired Springer leading off the bottom of the 7th, he had retired 27 consecutive batters, including the final 8 Angels he faced last Tuesday. All told, before he walked Correa to start the 8th, Colon retired 29 straight batters over two games. #BigSexy

99% of the time at the store I get the prehistoric Fred Flintstone cart, the one w/square wheels that sounds like the constant banging of pots & pans. Today, I pop in to get 3 items and pull the Ferrari cart that makes no sound. Had to shop for more stuff just to enjoy the cart.

@Libpatriot059 @sherrilee77 @piper4missouri Books and movies of the 70s for me. “The Autobiography of Malcolm X” & “Foul” (Connie Hawkins) were eye-opening reads. “Sounder” & “The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman” filled me with many emotions, as did the miniseries “Roots.” Reading and watching these moved me greatly.
