This man (who is not on any hormones, nor has he had surgery) is convicted of 10 counts of sexual assault and one count of cruelty against a child yet he is now living among some of society's most vulnerable and marginalised women.

This violation of women's sex-based rights it's totally unacceptable and deeply misogynistic. Ireland has once again shown complete and utter disregard for women's well being. They have decided to place the feelings of an extremely dangerous man above the safety of women.

We’d like to bring your attention to the sinister motion proposed at the NUIGSU which lumps feminists with the far right. How has campaigning against Female Genital Mutilation & being against the practice of child brides be discriminatory or far right?

Charlie Lawlor abused a lesbian couple, punching one of them in the face leaving her with permanent scars and still received a fully suspended sentence. Another abusive male (sorry, “decent young man”🙄) on our streets. Thanks Judge Nolan! Ireland is not safe for women.

We are horrified at this blatant disregard for the rights of incarcerated women, many of whom are locked up for minor, non-violent offences and are extremely vulnerable people. We believe this case has highlighted some major flaws in the Gender Recognition Act 2015. /2

Solidarity with our sisters in France who got attacked today simply for protesting against porn & prostitution. Violence against women are being celebrated because misogyny is masquerading as 'progressive' nowadays. Stand strong, dear sisters. We're with you.✊🏾

Today in Paris, the feminist group CAPP organized an action against prostitution. I joined it with my sisters from @l_amazone_ . There were several prostitution survivor with us. We were beaten up by queer activists who also threw eggs on our faces.

The racism & hypocrisy coming from these accounts is unacceptable. We're proud to be a feminist organisation that welcomes migrant women. We're also proud to support & be supported by our feminist sisters all around world. This xenophobic divide & conquer strategy won't work./2

A 13-year-old girl said a man approached her & asked if she was "open for business" when she was walking to school. Repeating the slogan "sex work is work" does absolutely nothing but normalise objectifying girls & women. It doesn't make prostitution safer.

Happy #LesbianVisibilityWeek ! Lesbians have always been at the forefront in the fight for gay and women’s rights, despite lesbian-specific issues often being ignored by others. 📷: Lesbians on International Women’s Day, Cork, Ireland. 1985.
