Ontology is a branch of philosophy concerned with the nature of being - what exists, what it is to exist, what kinds of things exist. It is often juxtaposed with "epistemology" which is a branch of philosophy concerned with how we *access knowledge* about those things that exist.

Make me give a 5 minute talk, or a 45 minute talk (my favorite length for talks!), okay, you can even have me give me a 25 minute talk. BUT PLEASE GOD do not make me give a 12-15 minute paper talk. My least favorite academic genre of all time. THE WORST.😨

👋🏼hi geography! so as a trans geographer I'm happy to clear my own path in a discipline that wasn't made for me. but plz don't mistake the act of making queer space as threatening order, dismantling tradition, or disrespecting authority. it causes me problems. cool thanks guys!👍🏼
I just got an email where yet-unknown-to-me geographer proclaimed that they think I "may be the coolest geographer ever." 😊🙃🤗 This otherwise miserable day is looking up!
Loving post-PhD life! Freely & excitedly floating between writing my book on queer phenomenology, a 🔥 piece on queering geog, a chapter on phenomenology, a chapter on DEI in geog, some book reviews, and my multipronged research/writing agenda on queering feminist geography! 🤗
