University of Arizona President, Dr. Robert Robbins, details his plans so that students can return to campus in the fall. Including using their own diagnostic and antibody test kits to "test as man people as we can."
Based on the current health conditions and CDC guidance — as well as our commitment to deliver in-person learning — we are requiring face masks to be worn in all indoor spaces where adequately and continuously maintaining social distance is not possible.
The famous phrase “Bear Down” was started by John “Button” Salmon in 1926. Today this simple phrase is a rallying cry that embodies the spirit of our students and university.

NASA's OSIRIS-REx spacecraft will swing by Earth to drop a sample from asteroid Bennu on Sept. 24, 2023, but it won't clock out after that. NASA has extended the mission, which will be renamed OSIRIS-APEX, to visit & study asteroid Apophis in 2029.

On July 20, 1969, humans walked on the moon for the 1st time. The maps and images created by a small UArizona team were instrumental in creating the 1st photographic atlases of the moon, which helped NASA successfully complete the Apollo 11 mission.
