Church attendance has dropped 45% since the start of the pandemic. Churches locking people out, especially when they didn’t have to, was an unmitigated disaster. Even where the law required them to close, they shouldn’t have. This was the hill to die on.

It should now be abundantly clear that the best response to Covid, from the very beginning, would have been to do nothing. Treat it like the flu. Take normal precautions and go about our lives. Fewer people would have died, overall, and society would not be in the mess it’s in.

If the government can shut down churches—either actively or by “encouraging” cooperation—in direct contravention of the First Amendment (to which there is no pandemic exception), there is literally nothing they can’t do. We become dependent on our leaders’ benevolence.

At this point, the Mask Narrative is basically a zombie. It’s dead—the Cochrane study drove the last stake through its ugly heart—it just doesn’t know it. So it keeps shuffling along, mindlessly, like the undead monster it is. Also, it apparently eats people’s brains.

Logically speaking, if masks worked, you would expect two outcomes: 1) lower infection rates in areas with mask mandates; and 2) decreased rates after mandates implemented. Neither has happened—anywhere—as @ianmSC (among others) has shown exhaustively and conclusively.
