@MarveIFacts
bring some seriousness back to the MCU, these overly "funny" characters are ruining it. Especially Thor got way too slapstick-y with Endgame and afterwards
@VGC_News
thats a smart campaign, blood is always needed and donating right at a clinic cuts out potential shady organisations, which - in some countries - sell it to hospitals at a premium
@unity
"We will charge once for a new install"
thats the issue, imo.
it covers the following:
- games released prior 2024
- demos
-giveaways
- review copies
- charity bundles
etc.
huge risk factor of non-planable extra costs
@CultureCrave
so back to the proven way of making tv shows then?
let's hope this increases the quality.
still think, they had some bangers (moon knight, wandavision, loki)
@VGC_News
low effort apology for low effort game, kinda fits the game, tbh.
sucks for daedalic, but I'm still salty at them, that they never bothered to fix a bug in Deponia, that soft locks you out of the complete game, even after 13(!) years of it's release
@LordAaron6
@maxnichols
yes, I remember when the WiiU turned out to be a financial failure for Nintendo, instead of mass layoffs, Satoru Iwata cut his own salary by 50% for a while
@stats_feed
this list is so pretentious for some reason, it reads more like "lets appeal to the most amount of people and stay relevant by chosing [x]", especially since most of them aren't even a singular person 😅
@IGN
for me, the Switch is for first party titles.
a great console, but due to technical limitations, 3rd party titles will never look as good as on other consoles/pc
@wilnyl
investors don't care. the changes mean more revenue, so stock should theoretically go up, cause more money is coming in.
that's what happened two weeks ago with Sony stock after they announced to raise PS Plus prices by 25~40 $/€ , Stock up +5%:
@engineers_feed
seems a bit excessive for 1 piece of clothings, though.
the shipping costs on that bulky carton box can be more than the product inside
@tha_rami
and so a new set of phrases for the "fear of unexpected potential future costs" was born:
"let's hope [CompanyName] doesn't pull a Unity on us"
"Let's be careful with [enter thing here], we don't want them to pull a Unity on us."
etc 😅
@SquaredApe
as an indiedev, I have to pay $100 upfront to publish on Steam and Epic Games Store, with follow up costs of 30% vs. 12% respectively.
Yet I'll release first on Steam, because thats where the (most) customers are, imo
@tha_rami
we'll probably lose a lot of indie games in the coming months, as they have to take them down and stop selling them to not end up losing money
