IMO @THORChain 's "chain.token" naming convention is the most elegant. For example, ETH.ETH = true ether on the ethereum base chain. Whereas, BNB.ETH would be BEP20 ether running on binance smart chain.

my big question here is: i feel like we need a better system than ticker symbols for identifying coins. because there are so many tokens with the same tickers and on different chains. It's a complete mess. But a solution like crvTOKENv3 kinda thing is even more complex.
