Hinduism does not need reform, it needs revival. The Hindu brain needs to learn Hindu values. Most Hindus today don't even know the basic tents of Hinduism are or WHAT it is to be a Hindu. Those trying to reform Hindu Dharma are just as big a problem as those attacking it.

The jokers (Devdutt P.) who say that Shiva doesn't exist in Vedas have never read the Vedas. The entire Rudram is taken from the Krishna Yajur Veda. It's in praise of all forms of Mahadeva. Hindu Dharma has zero conflicts b/w Veda & deity worship. Ignorance creates conflicts.

It's just plain ironic that even legislators in Alabama understand yoga better than Hindus themselves: that yoga is, in fact, a Hindu practice. I'm sure there are scores of "Hindus" in USA arguing against this precise definition. Oh well.

Using terms like "trads" for Hindus who speak up for their rights is same as label of "hindutva extremists" by the Hindu haters. Not all who are labelled as "trads" agree on all issues. But they agree on protecting temples, festivals & Gurus & give constructive criticism on it.
