What we're doing in DeFi at the moment is building protocols, and as @bneiluj once said, in some years, no one will ever know the underlying protocols they're dealing with when sending payment, they'll just see a friendly UI! Like who knows which protocols Facebook is based on.

Let's say a stablecoin system has a return over assets of 2%. It could technically pay 2% to all its holders. But what if now only 40% of the holders put their money in the savings infra? They could be offered up to 5%. That's what Maker is doing with DAI and @fraxfinance
