@bovibaee
Though it's also fair to say that the protagonist of Disco Elysium himself is kind of on a sliding scale between logic and vibes depending on how you allocate his abilities.
However, he most certainly does not have his shit together in any of these scenario.
@marxistkyoshi
Hm. So like, sorta edging toward the camp gay stereotype in the former? Wallace Wells comes to mind...
Any LGBTQIA+ folx have opinions on him or the Scott Pilgrim series in general? Good rep? Bad? Either or both?
@AlanBaxter
@MyHistrionics
Bonking and dorkassery aside, the level of detail in the cloth, hair, and facial features is really amazing. The sculptor conveys a really intense and evocative illusion of motion, you can immediately imagine the strong wind blowing past the subject.
I don't usually post art on Twitter, but JoCat has compelled me.
This is a recent character study of my first ever bard. He goes by many names, and he is definitely not a skeleton.

@marisharaygun
I love the implications here, because it either means that Grass's associate is either A. a cat lover with no regard for phrasing or B. a sapphic icon.
@ishadowheart
Her eyes are so freaking expressive and gorgeous. I think that goes for all the companions, but Shadowheart's eyes, just...
Going back to act 1 with a new save is always so jarring. Act 1 she's wary, guarded, judgemental. Act 2 she's troubled, anxious. Act 3... well you know.
@CriticalRole
At first, I thought they'd brought Ginny on set and had her reverse dub Laura's voiceover like she sometimes does, but then the actual Ginny popped up talking in her own voice and I realized the other Jester was the ACTUAL Laura Bailey and I was like "WHAAAAAAAAA--?!"
@emmasrobbery
i'd also argue that scott himself is a much more well rounded and enjoyable character in O'Malley's original text, he's got the whole redemption arc and stuff, but it's been a while since i've reread the series, so i might be speaking from bias.
@WellenKatze
Every time I see Nocturne and Shadowheart art, I gain 4d8 + 4 temporary hit points. Double that if it's them as kids. They are everything to me.
@mischiefanimals
I knew a raven at a wildlife shelter I volunteered at who was blind in one eye, so he actually would turn his head over almost 180 degrees to get a look at things from the other side.
@sharkflan
The best part of this is that all the Shar acolytes just kinda stand back like, "wow, we should probably just give up"
I reloaded my save after this, but damn if it wasn't a little satisfying.
@stoffeloni
@bovibaee
Apparently if you improve your Authority stat enough (or something, I don't know how this game works), you can achieve the glorious cop-o-type of "Honor Cop."
To do so, you must take the honorable action of sticking your thumb up your ass.
@lazyjunebug
I love/hate bad end AUs, especially for couples!!
This was such a gut punch!
I will not recover from this!
This is really well written and your art is lovely as always!
How could you to this to us?!
i think i need to lie down....
@oceansmelodie
The little sad "Sonia..." he murmurs in that one Tear... I dunno, something about the tone of his voice there makes me want to curl up and cry in a corner.
@thegamerwebsite
That's just goddamn rude, especially after a bunch of other members of the main cast have been regularly streaming their own playthroughs.

@tuckurd
People seem so shocked by the idea of Hunter being trans. Kid just discovered wolves and became immediately obsessed, what do you think will happen when he discovers gender?
@ankharel
Look, I'm gonna say it right now -- Dorian and Orym had chemistry the SECOND they started interacting in EXU.
Also, Prince Dorian has two hands. Otherwise he wouldn't be very good at playing a lute.

@marxistkyoshi
I was put in the "Fujoshi Culture" presentation group in a pop culture course I took abroad... Ended up buying a magazine and everything. Classified a buncha uke/seme types...
It's... a lot. Definitely not good rep for actual LGBT folks. Though, "Given" is actually really good.
@shenanigansen
I'll do you one better:
Sauron (X-Men, famous for the Spider-Man crossover)
✅ obscure darkhorse villain
✅ shares a name with that evil maiar dude with the ring, automatically cool
✅ taps into the human potential for being turned into dinosaurs
@JustinMcElroy
Well, Mr. McElroy, we've just heard back from the lab, and your blood work has turned up some... worrying results.
We discussed this possibility in your previous visit, and I'm afraid the diagnosis has been confirmed...
It appears you have a chronic case of... the Mondays.
@atti_qu
I love Steven Universe so much. It's heartwarming, emotionally intelligent, beautiful, hilarious, badass, and, on occasion, absolutely terrifying. I think I'm due for a rewatch at some point soon.
That said... (1/2)
@atti_qu
I don't think it should exist in a vacuum. I think there's a lot of great animated series that hit many of those same emotional notes as SU in their own ways, and a lot more to come.
Personally, I think The Owl House is a really good example of this. I can't recommend it enough!
@Daily__Owls
Noooooo, not the sound of the beak bonking on the kennel floor as a perfect comedic sound effect! Nooo, the poor owl! But it's really funny! But the poor owl! But that's genuinely freaking hilarious! But noooo!
@DissonantDreams
@tweetodontosaur
You're not stupid! That's a Dimetrodon, I'm pretty sure. If you ever had little plastic dino toys as a kid, you've probably seen a few of em.
Dimetrodon lived about 25 million years before the first dinosaurs hit the scene, and they're actually more closely related to mammals!
Uhhhh, hey paleontology twitter, y'all read this manga yet???
The premise is a lot like Jurassic Park, except the

are just animals and the genre is workplace comedy.
It's called "Dinosaur Sanctuary." As far as I'm concerned, it's a literary masterpiece.

Horses are now illegal.
All federal taxes will now be payed in candies and baked goods.
The nation will declare war on ghosts, which our chief executive is NOT scared of, and claiming otherwise is blatant propaganda.
@PaperPlaneTF
Some of my favorite iterations of Megatron are the ones where he and Optimus were once good friends, and where the Decepticons were initially founded with moral intent, albeit as militant extremists.
Lawful Evil Megs works really well in a redemption arc. It makes sense to me.
@CHofferCBus
Well well well well well WELL well, if it isn't my two most defining and expensive interests in life joining forces to cooperatively choke slam me into financial destitution.
@GenelJumalon
Zekrom and Reshiram are on the wrong sides here, I'm pretty sure.
I think beyond just simple Red vs Blue, Pokemon titles tend to like a warm vs cool color contrast, usually because they have to make version exclusive legendaries that are visual foils to one another.
@quiddie
@WillingBlam
I was about to be very concerned but then I remembered that sports exist.
You good over there, Trav? Somebody get that man a Werther's.
@mischiefanimals
If orcas hasn't locked down the polar apex predator niche, I'm pretty sure pinnipeds like leopard seals would be well on their way to becoming mammalian mosasaurs.
@yoofilos
The Epic of Serina has a lot of fun with this concept, albeit in an unnatural scenario where a population of finches are placed on a new planet with a very basal ecosystem set up and allowed to run rampant with adaptive radiation.
@Gangerworld
@BeardedGeek72
@Mark_Medina
I mean, the "goal" of any FromSoft game is to die often and gloriously. The learning curve is really important for enjoying these games, I think -- learning from past defeats and using your accumulated knowledge and skill to finally seize victory. It's all very cathartic.
