My Aunt is an elementary school teacher in Texas. I left a Zoom to see if she was okay. Thank God she's safe, but this constant state of terror that we're living in is exhausting. There was just a shooting on my train line a few days ago too. I don't even have the words anymore.

My Nana just tested positive for COVID. Urgent care told her “You’re healthy, you’ll be fine.” She’s 75, a cancer survivor, has a pacemaker, and has high blood pressure. He didn’t mention Paxlovid or any symptoms to look out for over the next days. I’ve never been more worried.
