Reminder that Dollfuss, Salazar, Franco, and even Mussolini (before Hitler got to him) all despised Hitler's race idolatry. Salazar explicitly viewed the future of Portugal as a truly Catholic one, where all races would be united in a common truth and nation.

I think this thread misses important context. '50 median home cost ('23 dollars): ~$200k. Median income was about 40% of that--$80k. '22 median home cost was $430k. '22 median salary was $56k; not even 15% of a home.

Situations like this and abortion/euthanasia are at least dangerously close to self sufficient demonstrations of an illegitimate government. The government not only tolerates, but actively encourages and protects things which are manifestly against the common good.
