She loved Ellen because she had nobody to talk to about her mom's abuse so she would write to her as if asking for advice, without sending. Ellen voices Dory; she found comfort in the movie and phrase "just keep swimming" because it helped her cope with generational abuse.

If you follow her, you also know that she eats 10 packs of ramen in a large pot for content. She's eating normal portions at restaurants that are very likely farm to table. Meanwhile in the US she's eating 20 liters of ramen and crab boils.

Plain and basic doesn't void someone of having style. All of her outfits are stylized and flatter her, whether you like it or not.
@saintdoII
I think Mugler appreciated the feminine physique but he definitely didn't love women, especially not in the cases of designs like these or the super cinched corset ensembles.

I'm apparently in the top 10% of FOB listeners simply from listening to Save Rock and Roll all the way through one night. It made me feel bad for them...

The long nails trend are an appropriated style from Black American women. Now that the trend is dying, people are rejecting our culture again and calling it low class. The "low class" aspect being because it's not a fashion trend originating from upper class white people.
@girlsonfillm
Honestly, Ebrah's entire existence. Unless they plan on expanding on his inferred military trauma and tie it into the cast line up, he's a waste of lines. Same for Sweeps. The time they spent on lines for them should've been used to tell Tina's story.

Vanilla and Cacao are both the most "exotic" and over produced ingredients to ever touch the world, just like many ingredients that come from the best region of the world.
@ymmayer
Irish people owned slaves all throughout the Americas, aided in the death of thousands of religions through their missionary work, assisted in Indigenous Americans genocides and the erasure of indigenous people through settler colonialism, and so much more. They're not innocent.
@itgirlenergy
It sucks though. When you have a favorite pair of jeans then lose weight and they don't fit the same. I was an 8 in winter, but now I'm a 4.
@REGINAVGEORGE
I find it very invalidating and disingenuous how so many people refuse to read the book but keep passing judgement. It's a book about the daughter of an abuse victim who gets abused and actually leaves, which she wished her mother would've done when she was growing up.
@ruebytwo
No. A lot of you are just weak.🖤
It doesn't take much to make me lose interest, no matter how much I think I like you. Any time I went to my friends it was because I was ready to break up with someone and wanted to do it gently and they would try talking me out of it.

The stomach issues are from a difference in how our food is processed. We use different grains of wheat and have different variants of vegetables. You'd experience the same issues in any part of North or South America.
@itsmariannnna
Because Indigenous Americans told the wolf in sheep's clothing that they saw the faces of their ancestors in the mountain side. Being the evil people that "they" are, they decided to blow off the side of the range and carve the "founding fathers" into it. In short: colonialism.

You do realize that there are multiple ears happening right now and not just the one social media told you about, right? You do know that, right? There has never been a year in all of human history where at least three wars weren't all happening at the same time.

If you have so many questions about the Spiderman universe, why not read the comics? Especially if you're a fan of one that isn't Peter Parker, why wait for the next movie for more background when you could just read the comics?

I'm not watching the coronation of royalty from a country that used to literally own my country. We fought a war so we wouldn't have to care about them.

Precious Lee gets casted much more than her and it's for her actual talent and ability to convey a look. Paloma barely had any iconic campaigns this year.

As an indigenous person, our culture doesn't exist as a fail plan for the shortcomings of the fashion industry. We can't even get the industry to respect our culture. The answer to this conversation is not indigenous exploitation. Try again.

It's going to both. You pay taxes regardless and the money is divided into budgets. You're paying for everything in your county, from the trees lining the avenue to the new coffee machine at your fire department.

Being neurodivergent doesn't excuse being rude. We're unaware of social queues, not psychopaths. If you never ask anybody anything about themselves, even how their day went or if they have the same interest as you, you're just self centered.
@earlygirl__
America is a colonial state. Indigenous structures still exist and our cultures are still alive even if stunted. We have a history that is ancient and beautiful too and it's very weird to say otherwise in favor of European architecture.
@virgosgrooviest
I don't like how all of these comments are making jokes as if Beyonce's bloodline doesn't look like this because of slavery. Her ancestors were likely raped by the ones listed in the photos. There's nothing funny about that.
@hotpriestt
I know this is a joke but it's actually because they are an invasive species and they live in a city. They're somewhat of a symbol of European colonialism in the Americas.

By talking about how she, as a survivor of domestic violence, coped by writing letters and never sending them. Mind you, she was a literal child.

People were literally saying these celebrities should be wearing European dresses from the 1890s when the theme was America in the 1890s, which had completely different fashion.

Yes, pretty much. However, my personality is about as black, white, and clean as my space. I like sleek, neat things, they excite me in the way eccentric things excite maximalists.

Irish Americans didn't exist in the 1600s, they were just called colonizers. This comment is ignorant and absolutely discounts their role in colonialism.

I'm sure it's bad for me but it feels a lot better than being treated like an afterthought or another resource for people who wouldn't blink if I was on fire.
