If Donald Trump had made NFT's for the Mar-A-Lago nuclear secrets, then he would technically still own them, even after their confiscation by the FBI.

In honor of our universities relying on the flawless decision making of 30,000 undergraduates in order to open, please quote tweet this with the dumbest decision you witnessed in college.
The funniest moment in cinematic history is when Joseph Gordon-Levitt finally got to make a movie about whatever he wanted and he made it about a guy who jacks off too much, but in a way that was somehow not relatable to anyone who has ever jacked off.
At KOMะฏADE brewing, we have always stood for the troublemakers, the rebels, those who refuse to do what they're told. We're proud to give back to the community with our charity - Nothing to Lose But Their Grains.
That said we don't think a union is a good fit for our culture...
You made this email no reply, so I wanted to let you know here that this sucks
@lyft
and I'm sorry that you got addicted to paying workers sub-minimum wages. I hope you can learn to follow laws like every other industry!
Thanks everyone for the support. I'm thrilled to have had the opportunity to put a GWR run together so quickly. Just a note though, in our celebration- let's be ecstatic about what was accomplished and not taunt or name call. Donate to the

The idea of Winnipeg freaks me out. 7 hours north of the cities, they plopped down a metro of 800k people and we just don't talk about it, like it's fucking Crastor's Keep.
Wow, this blew up.
While you're here, check out sweet corn. It's in season right now and it's delicious. You can't buy it online, but there's probably a truck selling it on the shoulder of your nearest highway.
@jon_bois
Jon, I just finished and I liked it so much. In case you didn't encounter it in your research, I thought you'd want to know that Kirk Cousins has a tube of 700 rocks in his driveway and he removes one each month so he can visualize his own mortality.
Anyone have advice on how to keep my joints from hurting as I get older that doesn't involve exercise, stretching, remembering to take vitamins, getting good posture, or any of the other things that would actually help?
I feel like a crazy person reading these articles about China's Zero COVID policy as though I wouldn't immediately prefer the response that allows me to live 90% of my life normally with occasional strict lockdowns rather than not living normally for two years now!
People who live outside of the Upper Midwest and don't have Menards: where do you go to buy two bulk tubs of Red Vines, a Makita circular saw with laser cutting guide, and oh also lemme get a few cubic feet of red landscaping rock while I'm here, why not
I gotta admit, it's pretty funny that the Minneapolis left said "we think it's possible for our city to take collective responsibility for clearing snow off sidewalks, just as we do for roads" and the city admin said "say no more, fam!" and stopped clearing the roads.
I'm not here to preach moral victories, but it's important for folks outside MN to understand that the movement against the dept of public safety involved:
-Multiple mailers a week for months lying about what the amendment does
-A year of work stoppage and slow down by police
You can evict families in a pandemic, bulldoze and steal everything a person living in a tent owns, harbor and 'coach' killer cops, but when a Brugger's gets fucked up... that's when Walz and Frey jump into action.
Two years ago in June, Betsy and I went to the west coast on a two week roadtrip after her first year of treatment.
One year ago, I promised Betsy I'd take her cremains back to the ocean.
Three months ago this week she passed away.
Today, I start the drive to fulfill my promise.
It's unbelievably sad that the response to a man being found dead on campus has revolved so exclusively on how we could have made sure he didn't die within sight of polite society.
My dad was doing his ritual of pretending to put Surly in the cart at the liquor store to antagonize me and I said "Don't you dare bring that scab beer into my house" and a very nice person next to me said "oh hi Ian, I thought that was you but didn't know until you said that"
The reason that the mayors of every major American city refuse to curb the abuses of police is because the attempt would reveal their political authority isn't recognized and it would create a legitimacy crisis they wish to avoid.
I find myself wondering if the liberal mayors of our liberal cities do not call off the police because they know that the police would decline to listen, and it's more comforting to believe that they have the power but chose not to use it, than to know that they no longer do.
Downtown Minneapolis is depressing in the same way as when your buddy invites you down to his "Man Cave" and it's just a half finished basement with a framed poster of a football and a chest freezer.
@AGoldmund
My parents both grew up on farms and whenever I didn't like a chore, my mom would describe in detail what it means to clean out a hog lot, meaning you use a hose and shovel to move massive amounts of pig shit.
NEW: Democratic Socialist Robin Wonsley Worlobah was once again declared the winner in the Second Ward on the Minneapolis City Council after a recount.
When my house got broken into in 2018, the cops did no investigation.
They suggested I visit pawn shops to see if I could find any of my major electronics and when I asked how to secure my home with my door frame split open they suggested "put something heavy in front of it"
Staffing shortages may mean Minneapolis Police "might soon be in a situation where weโre just not going to investigate property crimes anymore," MPD Chief

For my sophomore year of college in 2005, I complained that I felt claustrophobic under the standard bed loft kits at ISU. So my father designed, and we built together, a pulley driven loft that could be raised in the day and deployed from night.
I know it's fun to point out that Jacob Frey has sole authority over MPD, but I think we need to be honest: MPD does not recognize any civilian authority as legitimate.
I'm not the first to say it, but the material basis for things like CRT panic is that there's a generation of parents confused about why their kids always argue with them, and they would like there to be legislation to stop it.
Elon Musk says his teenage daughter doesn't want to be associated with him because of what he calls 'full-on communism' taught in schools and widespread hatred of the wealthy
Seeing a lot of people doing a "Friendsgiving" on the weekend before the holiday.
I want to clarify that a true Friendsgiving is when you dodge all family commitments to chill with the buds on the holiday. Otherwise you and your pals are just having a turkey dinner.
I really have to hand it to the right wing of the DFL, It makes me physically ill to have DSA accused of being "steeped in Jew-hatred" when so many of my Jewish comrades are the loudest on keeping this organization committed to the cause of Palestinian liberation.
The most toxic people in the universe will move to the Midwest and spend the next 4 decades of their life blaming the fact that everyone hates their fucking guts on "Midwest Passive Aggression".
"Blank Check" had a great bit about this but I still cringe whenever I think about the existence of that movie and any piece of advertising associated with it.

@IlhanMN
knows that being an authentic, values-driven leader is more important than protecting the establishment. I'm honored to have her endorsement, and look forward to working with her as Mayor to build a Minneapolis where everyone's needs are met, and everyone is safe.
A mental exercise that I find useful for myself is to imagine that the city was going to dig up an area called "the arsenic triangle" and install a public works facility in Linden Hills or Lowry Hill and imagine the way those residents would wield power to prevent it.
Several protestors yelling at Council President Andrea Jenkins, who responds by saying "This project will not kill anyone." She is threatening to have public removed from the chamber.
NOAA is reporting that after today's recorded precipitation, Twin Cities residents are primed to go "Sicko Mode" on the next 60 degree day. Patio drinking, shorts, kids playing in the street -- we might see any of these in upcoming forecasts.
"you loved college because you lived in a walkable community"
I paid $180 in rent to live with my 4 best friends. We drank until 3am every night and I was told I had social value because I thought big thoughts and wrote them down. I'm pretty sure it wasn't the urbanism for me.
Betsy passed away a year ago today. It's hard to believe she's been gone that long. Spare a thought for her memory today, and the unplugable hole in the hearts of so many who loved her.
